Zumba was a great thing in my family. At least until this past week. But family does not go to get bullied, not just by a couple of the dancers but also the instructors and owner. Cathy Zumba in da House in Bradford, Ontario is the worst place to go if don't want to get bullied or yelled at in front of the other participants or over the phone. I too had the same experience but I went and it was 108 degrees with no air conditioner, not to mention they had a fake door and a hip hop class was going on while ours was! The instructor training us decided to have a turf war. When I told her at break- after being there for 5 hours- she said it wouldn't be going on after lunch- LIE. I have called Zumba customer service numerous of times got a hold of two customer service reps were told that they were too busy to handle my call and that they would call me back they never called me back I have sent seven emails and never have gotten a response. Then if you call and they do not want to answer your calls they put you on a line that says that you have dialed is incorrect number. They knew that I was putting my account on hold... Read more

I had to recently cancel a zumba strong course which I had booked several months ago as I sustained an injury to my knee a couple of weeks before and was advised by my consultant not to do any high impact moves. I officially cancelled my Zumba membership with the penalty of losing my license after over 4 years of faithfully paying my membership dues. My reason to cancel is also that I never used their website. It was difficult to use their teaching resource. It was amateur and I never got through the threshold of using it. After paying for several month, I finally decide to cancel. It was a shame! They make it so hard for you to cancel the zin membership. The quality of Zumba instructor is Very poor, there is NO quality control, it's a joke! I was surprised that Anyone can become an instructor even if you can't move.... I'm sorry to say, but if you want to work in the fitness industry, you should be fit... Have cancelled a Zumba training. They said when I cancelled the money was being sent to me. Then I got in touch with them, they kept lying that the money was being sent to me.
