SCAM ?...IYOGI, OMNI, Z-TECH

AI Highlights
  • - Calls from firms posing as Dell Support Tech who remote access my PC; paid $269 and later $239 to Dell; calls continue 3x weekly with different names.

I CONTINUOUSLY GET CALLS FROM THESE "DELL SUPPORT TECH" COMPANIES BECAUSE I STUPIDLY BIT ONCE. THEY TOOK CONTROL OF MY COMPUTER AND AFTER 5 HOURS IT WAS SO MUCH MORE SCREWED UP THAT IT WOULD'T WORK.

I HAD PAID $269. FOR THIS SERVICE. HAD TO FIGHT THEM FOR MONTHS THROUGH MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO GET A REFUND AND THEN PAY DELL $239. TO FIX IT.

IF THIS ISN'T A SCAM, WHAT IS. NOW I GET CALLS 3X A WEEK NO MATTER HOW MUCH I YELL BACK AT THEM. I PLAYED ALONG A FEW TIMES AND GOT A RETURN PHONE NUMBER AND STATE. I USED THAT INFO TO FILE WITH THE FTC AND STATE BBB.

DOESN'T SEEM TO MATTER; THEY KEEP CALLING WITH DIFFERENT NAMES.

STAY AWAY OR PLAY ALONG AND GET PHONE NUMBERS AS I DID. PERHAPS WITH LOTS OF COMPLAINTS TO THE FTC AND BBB OF THE NAMED STATE, WE CAN PUT A STOP TO THEM.

What is the big deal? Some people, like me, may find it easy to set cap lock and type with one finger unlike tech-savvy people like you. This person doesn't deserve to be called jack-ass.
