When I contacted this maid service I she said she was very good at house cleaning and she was quick. It took her 4 hours to clean an empty already (basically) clean house. All I asked her to do was to "spit shine" the house to prepare it for open house.
I left her alone to run some errands. I came back 2 hours later and she was still cleaning the same kitchen she was cleaning when I left. Don't forget the house was empty (cleaned out, nothing in it) and she hadn't ever mopped the floor in the kitchen yet.
When she did mop the floor she dry mopped it. She had a mop that squirted some water on the floor and then she dried it with the mop.
I had to ask her to go back and redo several things she missed. Because she sensed my displeasure with her progress she began to rush and half do the job she should have been doing for two hours. Or maybe half doing things is her approach to her job.
Don’t hire this woman unless you plan on standing over her while she works.

I know no other way to say this than you are a liar. I wish this site allowed attachments so everyone could see what a liar you are.
The property had been renovated and cleaned.
The carpet was brand new the walls had just been painted, the cabinets were old but had been cleaned out and washed although they were not newly lined. I asked that the floors be scrubbed and waxed to make them more appealing. But it took you so long to do nothing there was no time to do the waxing, and what you called scrubbing was filling the reservoir on your little mop and squirting water in the middle of the floor and wiping over it.
NO one should ever hire you to clean their house. If they want a lazy person to hang out and do nothing then you should be their first choice.
No, Elayne, I am not a liar. You apparently have no idea of what you are talking about.
Fortunately I am blessed to have so many clients that I can pick and choose for whom I choose to work. Obviously they don't feel like you do. I am so booked that my next opening isn't until the middle of November. You also never said a word about waxing.
I wish you well in life as you obviously have some serious character and emotional issues to deal with. Wishing you the best!
Ms. Trudye Nesbit, I would like to respond to your review dated March 18, 2013.
When a home is in the condition that your home was in it takes a while to clean. The stove, refrigerator, bathrooms, baseboards, ceiling fans, and carpet were all in pretty bad shape and required much scrubbing. The home was also full of dust and cobwebs. All the floors had to be hand scrubbed.
I'm not sure when the last time the home was actually cleaned and thus, it takes time to do so. I asked you if there was anything else you wanted done and you said no. If you would have made your displeasure known at the time I cleaned, I would have corrected anything you needed. I do recall you asking me why the shower was still wet.
I don't wipe down the shower fiberglass to dry them, only to clean them. There wasn't one inch in your home that didn't require me to hand scrub. Even the tops of the cabinets were covered with very thick grease which required several applications of grease cutter and scrubbing. I have been cleaning for several years and have many happy current and former customers as listed on the About Us page of my website.
I am sorry that you didn't communicate your displeasure and allow me to correct anything you were unhappy with. Just please bear in mind that I can't make something look new that is very worn out. I hope that you will give your next service the opportunity to make you happy if that is possible.
I will mail you a copy of this to your home address in Stone Mountain in case you don't see it on the sites that you posted it on. Thank you,

How would you know you never cleaned the baseboards, cabinets or touched one ceiling fan, and the carpet was brand new. Nothing in that house required scrubbing, other than the fridge. You can paint the area as unfit but it was in very good condition.
All you need to do was spit and shine the area. I'm not sure if you spit on anything, if you did it was probably the only thing in there that got wet.
I stand by my assessment you are the worse maid ever. However you did teach me something, I'll never leave another maid I don't know alone and expect her/him to do a good job. In your case I would have settled for adequate.
Ms. Nesbit,
Your home was in very bad shape.
I was shocked when I arrived after you had told me on the phone it needed "spit shinned". The area was definitely "unfit" as you said. Maybe, you have never cleaned yourself but your home was filthy. I did the best I could with the limited time you gave me.
I cleaned all the cabinets, the baseboards, the bathrooms, refrigerator, and stove. The refrigerator and stove took an abnormal amount of time to clean as they were so bad. A house in that shape required a minimum of five hours up to eight hours to clean properly.
You taught me an invaluable lesson.
I only clean for people that are referred by my current customers. Thus, I don't have to deal with people with unrealistic demands when they haven't allowed enough time to clean a very filthy place!
