Smoker will not start at all.This has to be withdrawn as I discovered the problem, the electrical cord had become slightly loose and that is the real problem.

Iggle cord and everything was perfect. My appolpgies to Yoder and jumping the gun there. Product is extremely terrific.Defiitly buy Yoder.Shop around but make sure look atYoder.

Clogged auger

Yoder 640 auger was clogged. Water got in and cemented the pellet dust. Advisor nailed it on my issue and how to fix.

Much appreciated he answered the phone on a Sat morning.

Yoder Smokers - Customer service

Ill be honest, the first guy from customer service was not very kind, understanding or courteous.. the second guy was all of that..

I brought my 640 competition cart home and after one use it wouldnt light. I called and the guy would say nothing but labor isnt included at any stage of the purchase.. Just parts. The second guy asked what accessory I did purchase and if theres anything I wanted..

I told him yes and he said fine and said hed try to get something done asap as it was right before thanksgiving!

Hopefully the guy shows up. Thats where Im at currently..

User's recommendation: Ask them about warranty and if it doesn’t work how long it will take someone to get out to fix it..

Parts missing

I had purchased the two side stainless steel shelf covers and the stainless front bib all at same time. Upon installation I discovered I was short two screws that hold one of the side covers in place.

I contacted yoder customer care and they promised to send me the part , they did not send.

I contacted my local bbq dealer where I made the purchase and they contacted a rep whom in turn did call me. He said I must have previously spoken with an American rep.

He said he would correct the problem and now send the parts himself , another empty promise from yoder. I thought yoder was a reputable company but the customer care service is a disgrace.
