Complaint! 13/12/2016
I have been going to the Massey Ymca in Auckland New Zealand since 2009, and have found that certain personal trainers, {instructors} here to be unfriendly, and disrespectful towards me. And judgmental towards me for the way I look.
They only talk to certain people, and ignore others. I believe everyone should be treated equally, no matter how they look. Either that person be an introvert, or an extravert. They all deserve respect.
Also the fact that I have been a paying customer, since 2009. I would never treat my customers this way. We live in a diverse cultural city, with a large variety of different ethnic groups, and an even wider variety of individuals.
Going to the gym for me is a way to release stress. I don't expect to come to a place like this, and end up going away feeling worse.
I have been going to the Massey ymca in Auckland for a long time, and have found it to be very disrespectful towards me. Maybe because of the way I look.
Because I am not as muscular as others, or as attractive as others, I don't know, But Everyone on this planet deserves to be treated equally, I believe. The instructors that work here, only talk to certain people. And if you don't look a certain way they treat you like you are dirt. The male instructor who was on today 13/12/2016 at about 2:30pm called me lazy, because I came in through the front entrance, instead of coming through reception.
I am paying to go to this gym, and feel I deserved to be treated better than this.
I will be writing to as many people as I can about this, And I will tell as many people I can to avoid joining this gym. As I think this is disgusting behavior.
