The owner of Yarrish Design refused to refund us ehen he breached the contract
We enlisted the services of Yarrish Design following a recommendation from Dustin Dohm at SS Creative. Initially, Alex created a mood board and some rudimentary sketches.
However, as communication issues arose, with Alex frequently citing travel-related forgetfulness, it became evident that a pause in the design process was necessary. Recognizing a consistent pattern and a deficiency in the required level of talent, my colleagues and I decided to terminate the project. Our formal letter went unanswered for over a week until intervention from Dustin Dohm prompted Alex to suggest transferring the project to another artist.
In a subsequent email, we offered to allow Alex Yarrish to retain $350.00, an amount deemed sufficient by Dustin Dohm for the work completed. Contrary to our proposal, Alex claimed a $1,500 investment.
After further consultation, Dustin Dohm recommended an additional $150.00, stating that this was already a generous compensation.
Despite this agreement, we have yet to receive any response from Alex Yarrish weeks later. The prolonged lack of communication has compelled us to seek assistance from the Attorney General of Pennsylvania.

Preferred solution: We are seeking a refund of $1,612.18 (we paid him $2,112.18) deducting the agreed-upon $500.00 that we have allowed Alex to retain.
