I work for Freeman in Las Vegas nv, a Fortune 500 convention industry , installation and dismantling company, one Of the largest companies in the world.

We go over to the yard house at the linq almost 4 times a week, for lunch

This particular day, we had one of our managers with us who is a African American gentleman and he was singled out, and treated as if he was doing a crime, we all drove our work carts around to the yard house like we always do, but he was the only one that security asked to move his cart!!! He asked why ?

being that other carts were parked there,but yet by Caucasian workers.. the security said the manager up in the window told me to let you know you cant park there, Im just doing my job.

Not only did they want his cart moved they called other security to were he was standing and surrounded him as if he did something wrong or a crime

When all he was doing was waiting on his order..

While waiting on his order, the big boss who sent the message about his cart needing to be moved also came down and approached my co worker , explaining why the cart had to be moved after being told by 2 other people previously.

My co worker said Ill leave as soon as I get the food I paid for and I will not be returning due to how I was racial profiled today...

The manager then went on trying to be sympathetic saying how he liked the necklace my worker was wearing , in which was all a suck up for the racial discrimination he had just presented.

I want you all to know there at corporate that the entire situation was recorded and actions from a lawyer will follow up

I hope this is not a on going issue towards African Americans being that this will get you all a lot of law suites .. I dont know if your aware but the manger you all hired at this location

Unprofessional management

I have a manager who is extremely unprofessional and speaks poorly to their employees. Also he doesnt schedule accordingly if not thru what caliber you are in .

He uses lies and manipulation and brings his personal problems to our work place . I tried to confront the issue but apparently I have to go through HR first in order to start an investigation or paper work . Ive been two years at this location and I would like a transfer if this problem can not be resolved . I refuse to work with people who arent conscientious of their employees.

I love my job at yard house it is a job that I appreciate and Im blessed to have . To whom it may concern please consider this message before more employees quit because of this one manager.

Complaint

Was sat at 6:30 ish. Didn't receive our food til 8 server only came to take our food(because we called him over) and take our check. No refills on anything. Didn't leave til 9:15 because again he did t come check on us so we can pay the bill. Complained because we didn't tip. But tip for what exactly. He didn't when bring us the food and our order was wrong

Terrible service; worse attitude

Yard House - Terrible service; worse attitude

We are very upset! We were at the Yard House this evening.

In Boca, our reservation was for 6:45 PM. When we arrived, we requested an outside table on the patio. We were seated about 7 oclock. This is absolutely excellent.

Our server came by and took our order for drinks and appetizers. That was brought pretty quickly. And just to say, the nachos were so hot. It was like a fire bowl.

When another server walked by, he said, didnt she tell you that these are very hot. I said no.

We gave our order for the food. After about 15 minutes she came by and said there is no more ahi tuna left. So that involved two meals.

We had to choose something else. Mine was gross.

Suffice it to say that the food was brought out at 8:29 PM! We asked and we asked and we asked and we asked. We are not rude people at all.

I am so very disappointed.

When I spoke to the general manager, I said you know were here since 6:45 PM and were only being served now. He told us that well you know you asked for an outside table and therefore you have to wait. in fact what he did was put the blame on us. We were six people present,n notwithstanding the bill said seven guests.

I resent being blamed for having to wait until 8:30 PM to get our food. So they said well we will give you free desserts. Frankly, we were not at all interested in the desert or anything else that was being served that evening.

So very very very disappointing service from the Yard House. It does not help that the general manager said well you know were backed up in the kitchen and I see that youre number three on the list.

They knew exactly how many reservations they had and how many people to expect walking in off the sidewalk.

In fact, Mizner Park was very empty this evening.

I have no words. How does management not take responsibility for such shoddy service!

Bad very bad treatment by the gm@***h in Palmdale

First of all, Ive been going there for four years I felt we were friends with the management and staff until Friday, 12 March a day I will never forget we were having a business dinner things were going fine then the food start coming. One persons crust was burnt on her pizza.

They sent it out that way thats so sad. We have been to restaurants all over this country

And never havebeen treated so badly I am done and over you and so are my friends and Ill never stop telling people how bad that experience was. And thank you for making my decision about writing a blog on restaurants and bad experiences, so done and so over you and your food not great any more smaller portions higher prices and not such good food mediocre my food tops yours 100% and thank you for saving me a boatload of money check Chang.

My bank account is already growing. Love it.

I was at your restaurant located in Burbank on Friday February 17th 2023 I had dinner with my family and my lifelong friend who is a captain United States Navy and I am a former Marine myself and we cried about veterans discount due to the fact that it was going to be his retirement dinner and we were told that's not given at that time and I just think that something should be addressed about that because the meal was $180 I believe and I believe it should have been discounted at that moment to honor somebody that had served in the United States Navy for 38 years! Can you please write this wrong?

The location in Palmdale Ca service lady Monday was awful. The soup we ordered was cold the salad never came and the entrance is filthy and doors were filthy the wait was ridiculous and nothing was offered for their mistakes.

Many issues and inappropriateness of supervisor

My issue is that our party of 4 was seated at 10 pm on Sunday, 4/11 and appetizers and drinks ordered After several changes in the drink order throughout the course of the night, one member of the group received his drink at11:45p, 15 minutes after closing. I asked to speak to the supervisor, and Brie came over.

Brie did not look at me when I spoke, I explained the situation and I asked what she can do or if she can comp (remove the drink from the bill) the drink (at this time, the beverage had not come out yet) she said:listen, Im not sliding a drink to you.. Id rather you not even drink here .. or proceeded to talk about covid , flipped her hair and was beyond rude and unbelievably inappropriate. As someone in customer service and a former bartender and manager of a restaurant..

you better believe I am taking care of the drink for a member of a group who has not received it after 90 minutes, with no wait on the restaurant and half empty place. The bill came over with 3 drinks that were still on it that we never received (the original drinks that were ordered and each time the bartender took almost 20 minutes to begin making the order and then told the waitress they dont have the ingredients needed.. hence why the entire process took 90 minutes.. it came to a point where our group said make anything..

we dont even care, just bring him a drink .. please!!

I am appalled at the level of service and care that this supervisor took..

Poor on several levels

My husband and I just left your Rancho Mirage location and had a lousy dining experience. We arrived at 5 pm and were told they were ALREADY out of onion rings.

We settled on calamari which tasted like the oil had been used too long. While we waited for our salads (which were very good), three different waiters tried to deliver dishes not ordered by us. We asked for bread with our salads, expecting some sort of bakery french bread, but instead we each received one slice of sandwich sourdough which was very STALE. Our server, while pleasant, was clueless and truly did not understand our dissatisfaction.

We received only forks, but also needed knives to cut the huge pieces of chicken on top of the salads. Manager Tory came by our table and we shared our dismay. She was very professional, and, while it was too late to change our experience, we appreciated her sincere effort.

One other thing that really bothered me was the server said more than once, "The (blank) was great, Yeah?", which felt like an employee trying to get 5 stars for her company. Everyone does it, but my husband and I find this tactic highly insulting.

I have been to the Yard House in Santana Row numerous times in the past 10 years, and never had this poor of an experience.
