I have four Yamaha 425 engines. My question is I lost the key fobs. Can I program another set of key fobs so I can start the engines?

Lack of customer service/sales

i ordered my yamaha outboard more than 8 months ago now.. and still have no word on when it is coming..

they make a quality product but the customer end of it is garbage.. there is no way in 8 months the engine was not able to be allocated.. they give you excuses about supply chain and covid but engines show up at the dealer every week that have no pre sale.. they are giving the 250 to the boat dealers and not concerned about the individual..

very bad business.. they offer 200hp but the only difference in those and a 250 is the sticker and the ECU..

somebody is not taking a moment to pay attention to orders and who is waiting on what.. sad that they have forgotten the individuals..

very very disappointing -thymel@***.com

Is the mounting bracket for the fresh water flush hose just a mount?. Or does water flow through the mount.

Yamaha HPDI 250 blown power heads

Yamaha marine suck. I purchased twin HPDI 250 and blew a power head after 30 hours.

Yamaha realized the oil pump was the problem and replaced. Now my motor is out of warranty(a couple of years) an dthe other power head blew up. Yamaha response is sorry out of warranty. Its evident there are more than 1 issue with these motors and they found a bandaid to correct .

The motor has less than 60 hours and their response is sorry out of warranty. I understand warranty issues but when their are numerous reports of these problems youwould think they would stand behind thier product. I should have never repowered my twin johnson.

I will never recommend a yamaha to anyone. If you want more details please email mhoovertx@***.com
