Fraudulent business practices. Should be in jail
Ordered drum pad for my son. It was a Christmas gift.
Ordered in November 2019. It is now June 2022. Drum pad never received. Generic emails with excuses and false promises.
No way to speak with a customer service representative. Any good reviews found are people who are financially benefitting from this scam (i.e., Elle ). Complaints filed with BBB, FTC, Attorney General California, Attorney General Washington State. Company reports 2 million in revenue.
Still takes payments for orders It will never fill. They are committing fraud. They are knowingly taking money for orders , they have no intention of filling. I don't understand why they are not being charged with criminal activity.
It is fraud. This is ongoing, fraudulent activity. If they are truly making millions as reported, where is law enforcement? Where is the IRS?
Can RICO laws be explored please? Save your money. This is a total scam. Also I have an app that searches for my info on the dark web.
As soon as I placed my order with Xymox Percussion, my information was located on dark web.
This is nothing more than a sophisticated shell company. Don't waste your money or risk your personal information.

Order never received- horrible customer service
It has now been 17 months since I ordered a drumpad from Xymox for my son. We still have not received anything.
I reached out to the Better Business Bureau and each time Xymox made empty promises. They said the drumpad would be delivered by a certain date. Each date has passed.
Xymox has not reached out to me directly to remedy the situation. My son is so heartbroken.
Their products look pretty online, but you may never find out in person. I cant believe they are still marketing products and posting on social media when they have yet to fulfill my order that was placed close to a year ago. There are others who have reported that they are still waiting for their orders and its been even longer for them. I even paid for my order to be expedited.
They never respond to my emails or social media messages asking for an update on my order or a refund. However, when I reported them to the BBB they responded to them giving me a delivery date of Feb 2021, so BBB closed the case. When I didnt receive again, I submitted another complaint and they gave me a new date of May 2021z Well, its almost August and I still have not received the item and they refused refunding my money. They cant be trusted.
I have never received such poor customer service. In fact, they havent given me service at all even thoug they took my money.

Ordered on 11.22.2019, was told in January of 2020 it would ship in February. Then Covid hit and now I get are generic email responses. I can't get my money back because they won't refund it.

I have reached out to many sources and still have not heard from the company to solve the issue.
I ordered their Hybrid Snare Drum back in May 2019 and have yet to receive it. The company always had excuses and then stopped responding themselves and using auto email responses.
My first order with them in 2016 was late because of a promotion, but I at least received in eventually. I will not be sending my students to order from them.

I placed an order with Xymox Percussion for a tenor drum pad. I was given a 6-8 week production time.
After several weeks of not hearing that our pad had gone into production I emailed them. They said they had not started it yet..., soon. I have so many back and forth emails. I have complained to the Better Business Bureau three times, promises made but never fulfilled.
I have complained to the Attorney General of CA as well as my own State. They cannot help. I have complained to the FTC, nothing. Xymox has emptied their warehouse in CA and moved to WA (we think.) When you email them, you get a canned response back.
The same response over and over. I have a facebook page with 65 members. All in the same boat.
Xymox has our money. We will probably never receive our drum pads.

I ordered a pair of drum pads from them in September 2019, long before COVID-19 and before their move to Washington was even something to consider. I've been through at least seven failed shipping dates, seven BBB complaints, and over twenty emails to which I've received automated responses between September and today (June 29, 2021).
Furthermore, I've received the same email about shipping orders at the end of the month in February, March, April, May, and June. Absolutely ridiculous!!

Preferred solution: Either a full refund OR an actual update or delivery of my product. I finished my Bachelor's and my Master's degrees in the time it's taken to get my drum pads!

I purchased a practice drum pad for my son's birthday on October 9, 2019. We have tried to contact the company on multiple occasions to find out where the pad is.
We continue to get a generic automatic e-mail stating they have moved and are starting to process orders and to check back the end of the month. I have received this same e-mail for the last 4 months. I have tried to reach out on instagram, but they do not allow comments or messages.
I have filed with BBB with nothing to show for it. My son just wants his birthday present from almost 2 years ago.

BUYER BEWARE!!! My teenage son placed an online order with Xymox Percussion in June 2019 for a custom hybrid snare pad.
Our credit card was charged immediately upon placing the order. His expected ship date was July 1, 2019 with a note on the order that production could take up to 8 weeks. These were the conditions acceptable to us upon placing the non-refundable order. My son reached out to them in July 2019 asking for status and got nowhere.
They finally responded on September 3, 2019 informing him that his order was now "in production." Its worth noting that this delayed response came in exactly 3 months after the initial order was placed; an intentional move on their part as it meant we were outside the window of opportunity to dispute the charge with our credit card company... well played, Xymox! It's now nearly 20 months later and the order is still "in production" according to the information available in my account on their website. Xymox will no longer respond to our inquiries for order status or a refund.
All we get is a generic, automated email response from them saying that they're going through a large company transition. It's always something with them. According to their posts on social media accounts, they've spent the last 18 months (at least) blaming: production problems, staffing issues, Covid pandemic, relocation and now a large company transition. Our order was placed at minimum a full 9 months prior to all the above ***
If this company had the right intentions, they wouldn't be continuing to drum up new business by running online sales promotions which generate new orders (that they'll gladly still accept!) all the while knowing they can't fill orders from 2+ years ago - let alone anything new.
It may not have started out as a scam business, but these garbage people have turned into thieves who are lying to and stealing from kids (for the most part) and something needs to be done to shut this fraudulent business down. What is it going to take??? These same stories are everywhere. Literally, everywhere.
Hundreds of kids have been and continue to be ripped off. Really pathetic!
