So far only robotic standard same email verbiage word for word sent back. You know there isn't anyone personally generating the responsive emails

Original review Aug 15, 2022

No answer and no callback Stay far away... this company is horrible.

I have tried to resolve an issue where I purchase a specific class so was provided with only an order number. I DID NOT buy a gift certificate. The class wasn't held and now I want my money back. They are refusing and stated I can "redeem" my GC fr another experience by using a redemption code.

I have been trying for months now to email them (this is the only communication option by the way - not even an online chat) - which is why I am saying RESEARCH before purchase. Anyway, all I receive back is the same robotic response stating please redeem using my GC redemption code...

I have emailed my attachments from my email and their website to show this is NOT a GC but a specific class and therefore there isn't a redemption code and I now have this robotic formatted email 18 times! No resolve.

Customer service non-existent

Xperience Days - Customer service non-existent
Xperience Days - Customer service non-existent - Image 2

Issues cannot be resolved with this company and their customer service structure as it is. Phone calls are unreturned and emails are replied to, days later, with braindead comments.

I had purchased a gift for a friend which was beyond 365 days and was, therefore, no longer valid.

Xperience Days terms indicate that, if you book a new experience, the cost paid for the initial, invalid gift will transfer to the new one.

I reached out to XD and each time, despite my showing evidence of both purchases AND a screenshot of their own terms, I received a reply that I should send the "redemption number"; which, of course, I didn't have as it was never redeemed!

This went on for weeks and 5 different back and forths via email, phone calls, etc...

I surmise that there are 2 big issues with Xperience Days:

1. Their customer service protocol is designed to frustrate the consumer in hopes of encouraging them to just "give up" so XD can retain the cost, and

2. Their agents are so poorly trained as to not have any ability to manage issues as they present. I explained MANY times to the agent that I did not have a redemption number and, logically, why I didn't.

Each time the reply was, "we need your redemption number to proceed".

Attempts to speak with a supervisor have been ignored.

All I have is complaint boards to voice my distaste, and I will use them all

Xperience Days is, sorry to say, a disreputable and dishonorable company that I urge all to avoid. AA

Same here - I am so angry this company can (and continues to get away with this). It is funny though, I constantly research any new online company prior to purchasing, and since May trying to dispute my transaction it took until today to find the negative reviews and of course, none found on THEIR website.

Gift certificate transfer. Won't honor own policy.

Attempts to rectify the situation involving not honoring a previous purchase for transfer to a new one have proven fruitless. Xperience Days continues to drag their heels, indicating that they need some reference number which I DON'T HAVE despite my having the order number and proof of purchase.

In my estimation, this is their method of not having to honor their own policy by invoking some silly requirement when they have everything they need to honor said policy.

Each effort to connect to a supervisor who by all rights should have the power to solve the problem, has been rebuffed. This company's customer service is dreadful and, for that reason alone, I strongly suggest you avoid doing business with them.

XperienceDays seems to make their money on Certificates that are difficult if not impossible to redeem. We had certificates that never had availability and then expired.

Then they wanted another $10 to extend which I did only to find the next day when I tried to redeem the certificate which they showed availability for on their website turned out didn't have availability. This is a waste of money. Book directly with whatever company you want to do business with rather than this intermediary.

When I asked for my money back of course they said that wasn't possible because of their policies. Unfortunately their policies are all about how they can take your money and then prevent you from collecting.

XperienceDays continues to deflect and distort in their reply to this complaint. They don't talk about how many times you go online to see if there is availability to use their worthless certificates.

Of course there were no attempts to redeem because there were no opportunities to redeem.

Rather than taking an opportunity to provide the customer with an equitable resolution they double down on "No refunds" and you hold their worthless certificates. Make it right!!!!

Xperience Days gift cards are valid for one year from the issue date at the original purchase price. After that time they can still be used however, if there is any increase in price from the original purchase price, the redeemer will be responsible for the price difference.

Joseph Krzesni received a gift certificate for a Gourmet Napa Culinary Tour in February of 2016. The first time that Mr Krzesni contacted Xperience Days since the receipt of the certificate was on September 11th of 2018. At that time, Mr Krzensi was informed that there was a price increase of $5 per person for the tour, and that this amount would need to be paid in order to redeem the certificate for the same activity. Alternatively, he would be able to use the value paid towards any other activity offered on www.XperienceDays.com Mr Krzensi paid the price increase for the tour and requested a date for a reservation.

Unfortunately, Xperience Days was informed by the operator of the tour that the date requested was unavailable as no other participants were booked for that date and tours required a minimum of 4 participants to take place. As stated for each activity, all dates and times shown are subject to change and availability. While we will make every effort to meet the needs of all Certificate Redeemers, Xperience Days cannot guarantee a reservation for an experience on a chosen day or time until the operator of the activity has confirmed the reservation. In general, we suggest that certificate redeemers provide up to three dates they would like to participate, so that if the first or second choices are unavailable, our reservations team has a third option to work on.

As the singular date requested was unavailable, Mr Krzensi was informed that his certificate had been reactivated for future. A second certificate, given to Mr Krzensi’s wife in December of 2016 has never been redeemed, i.e. no reservation has ever been requested.

When Mr Krzensi contacted us for the first time regarding this certificate on September 11th, 2018, he was informed that this particular tour had not had a change in price since the gift certificate was issued, and it is currently valid for redemption. The gift certificates purchased in 2016, by someone other than Mr Krzensi, are not refundable as stated prior to purchase, and Mr Krzensi is welcome to redeem the certificates and request reservations for each.

This is a totally unresponsive response. We tried many times to look at availability to redeem these certificates only to find that there was no "actual" availability.

So no we didn't attempt to redeem because there was no availability when we could make the trip. This is all part of the game XperienceDays plays. If you look online by googling "Xperience Complaints" you will see how common this "experience" is.

Also, of note is that in none of these cases is Xperience Days willing to resolve a complaint -only to double down - that's the kind of customer service that they make available as part of the Experience. I challenge them to resolve this complaint by issuing a refund -I'll let everyone know that you have changed your ways, alternatively we'll move to the next level.

I also still have the package from the gift card I just uploaded that also states no expiration date . what more do I need .

It should have stated on the package it expires in 1 year from such date to this date. But it does not state it anywhere.

As stated over the phone when you spoke with a Manager, the Gift Card Received in 2010 was from a Radio Promotion. The certificate was never paid for; it was a donation.

So, therefore as stated on the gift card Experience Certificates not redeemed and used with in the twelve (12) month period are valid for services equal to or less than the original purchase price of the Experience Certificate.

As the purchase value was $0, the current card value is $0. Had the certificate actually been paid for when it was originally issued, it would still have that value 5 years later.
