Gas meter needs replaced

I called on 21 March about a leak at the shutoff/meter. I was told it would be replaced. Still waiting.

Gas leak

We smelled something from our furnance and my husband went to the crawl space and smelled gas. We called immediately and within an hour they were here.

Pay bill

Satisfied with the call. Resolved my situation I paid my bill I needed help with getting my bill Lord because I have medical condition and I cannot afford to pay your light bill of that sort I was paying $44 a month and was under the assumption that it would not continue until they sent me another form to take to the. I also resolved that issue thank you and have a great day bye

I have never dealt with a company that is so screwed up 6 months to give me a price to get gas and electric to a new building and this is after they changed things about 4 times now I can't get my meters

Rude and poor service

I called Xcel Energy in January to let them know I sold my house and moved to another. They sent a letter to my new address to occupant to say power will be shut down unless someone is responsible let them know the house was occupied. I called them again. They said they apologized and sent the bill to me. They double billed me anyway and now claim I never called. They won't play it or listen to it. They hung up on me.Power

Technician never returned to turn gas on after plumber finish work

A loud vibrating and rowing 24/7 noise was being made outside the two bedrooms in the basement. The noise was disturbing and interfering with my nightly sleep. I called XCEL Energy to report the problem. It took a week for technician over a week to come out. The reason for the arrival were because of a public utilities and governors office complaints. On 6/17/20 approximately 15:45 p.m. the technician arrived at the residents and begin the process of replacing the meter. After completing the process he discovered a gas leak inside the laundry room. Therefore, the gas could not be turned back on until the problem was repaired. A certified plumber was called to correct the issue. The technician had specifically stated to call XCEL upon completion of the repair. I called them approximately 18:30 p.m. in hopes of getting the tech back to the residents. I was told someone would be there before 22:00 p.m. A phone call was made again approximately 22:00 and 22:25 p.m. Each time I was told that there were other emergencies going on. On 6//18/20 I begin the process of calling again. The supervisor of the district was left three voice messages. He chose not to return the calls. In addition XCEL Facebook, XCEL Tweeter, and customer service was contacted. An entire day has lapsed and the technician has not returned as of 6/18/20.

LET THE PUBLIC KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THEIR POOR ZERO SERVICE

X-celenergy of Colorado rebate program is full of bull

In an effort to be energy efficient with my 18 yr. home I called Power Home Remodeling to replace my windows and a slider door in rear of my house. Every thing is super efficient and should last the rest of my life. In addition I had Power check my attic for proper insulation and as it turned the insulation had settled and no baffles were installed when the house was built. Both were installed. X-cel sent me a "Home Energy Report" indicating that my home is 52% more energy efficient then my neighbors and that rebates were available for heating equipment (including a nest thermostat), insulation and water heaters. I got on line as directed and called X-cel rebate dept. where I was told that an energy audit was to be conducted by an x-cel contractor and that any work done was to be done by a x-cel contractor. And that because the work had already been done NO rebate would be awarded for any item done. It would appear that any rebate program by X-cel is only a way to get you to hire their contractor so X-cel can get a kickback from them.

I have a rental income house and tried to change xcel energy services over to my name since my tenant (who has been paying the services) is vacating the property and I want to continue to receive gas and electricity. Xcel took all my information and then transferred me over to ConnectSmart so that I could verify my name, mailing address and receive a "customer confirmation" number. ConnectSmart then tried to give me all kinds of promotions and transferred me over to their television promotionals. I have no idea what this has to do with trying to change my xcel energy services over to my name. I'm very pissed off and suspect this is not kosher. Let me know what you can find out about xcel enegey's connection with connectsmart. One pissed off xcel energy customer
