My 3-week experience with Wyndham mortgage was NOTHING short of a TRAINWRECK! My loan officer, Grant, was extremely communicative with me as he tried to earn my business and then once I proceeded forward with the paperwork, my loan officer became unresponsive and unreachable.

I constantly called, left voicemails, sent emails, and text messages to Grant for updates to no avail, with ZERO response back. Follow throughs regarding my loan were never completed and because of their lack of professionalism, follow through and communication to me, they closed my loan WITHOUT my knowledge NOR my approval! To this day, I have not received a letter in the mail stating my loan was closed, as they said I would.

The manager, Jenna, finally got involved who was completely USELESS. Not only did she make every excuse as to why this loan did not get processed correctly, nor timely, she kept stringing me along telling me that she was working on my other options as I informed her on numerous occasions what my budget was.

Finally, on the 4th day with no update, I asked for an update. She then proceeds to tell me that she was off, and they could not assist me with my loan so good luck to me. I was ABSOLUTELY APPALLED! She did NOTHING to try to resolve the situation, all she did was string me along and tell me she was trying to figure out my options which, OF COURSE DID NOT HAPPEN!!

In her last message to me, she sent me her supervisors information- his name was Ben. I called him, and the interaction I had with him involved him being RUDE, ARGUMENTATIVE, CONDESCENDING AND INSULTING. I have no other words to describe my experience with him besides him being an outright JERK who needs to take a class on professionalism! He did not even have the decency to APOLOGIZE for the headache that his team has caused me, nor the financial hardship that has been bestowed upon me because now, as you can imagine, this occurred over a time span of 3 weeks, so the rates have increased tremendously causing an increase in the mortgage payment between the range of $400-$600 per month!!

I EVEN ASKED HIM- Ben, can you tell me what your team did incorrectly? And he told me could not answer that!!!

Wyndham put ZERO EFFORT into trying to rectify the situation- Ben and Jenna constantly insisted that it was my fault because I did not agree with the appraised value of my home, which is why I reached out to my loan officer on numerous occasions to see what needed to be done to capture the correct loan/appraisal amount. Because of his lack of response, I asked for a supervisor who SHOULD have been able to assist and resolve this issue. I even asked Ben, the so called supervisor if he read the text message exchanges between me and his team and he said No I have not.

So instead of him investigating OR providing any follow through, he kept pointing the finger at me as if this was my fault that his team did not follow through on ANYTHING. He proceeded to insult me and berate me because I did not agree with the appraised value of my home. I can honestly say this was THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced! Wyndham DEFINITELY needs to provide additional customer service training and competency training to Grant, Jenna and Ben so this AWFUL SERVICE DOES NOT happen to any other client!

In summary, Grant, nor Jenna, were willing to complete the reconsideration of the appraisal for my home which was INCREDIBLY LOW.

They informed me that I could argue the amount but that I had to do all of the leg work to provide examples of houses in my market which sold for higher amounts. WHY would that be MY job? That should be part of the mortgage companys job to do! They also kept telling me In 15 years Ive been doing this, I have only seen this overturned and in favor of the lender twice so its not realistic to expect the appraisal to increase.

The irony is that now that I have found a REPUTABLE, HONEST, and COMMUNICATIVE mortgage company called CARDINAL FINANCIAL MORTGAGE, they have sent out an appraiser and GUESS WHAT! My home was appraised $130K HIGHER than what Wyndhams appraisal came in as, WHICH IS THE AMOUNT MY HOUSE SHOULD HAVE BEEN APPRAISED AT! AND if the appraised value was lower than anticipated, THEY (CARDINAL FINANCIAL MORTGAGE) does the leg work to submit the documentation for the reconsideration of the appraised value!

It is absolutely DISGUSTING that a company is in business with these incompetent employees who lack knowledge, work ethic, professionalism, communication, and customer service. The ONLY person who had ANY customer service and follow up was Monet Brown.

I would not send my WORST ENEMY to this company- they are an absolute fraud!

A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY WITH THESE INADEQUATE INDIVIDUALS.

I hope Wyndham reviews the phone recordings, text message conversations and emails and see WHAT IDIOTS they have working for them!

BUYER BEWARE- STAY FAR AWAY FROM WYDHAM MORTGAGE THEY ARE A FRAUD! They are a complete DISGRACE to the mortgage world!

They give you good offers to convince you turn down other offers and get your new home financed with them and when its too late for you to switch they start changing the initial quote and make it worse than all other offers you already had .

Extremely unprofessional, with staff miscommunications with each other and with clients

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I dealt with three different staff who each told me different, contradictory things, which also contradicted questions on the initial interface, nor did they even coordinate with each other. One was so unqualified that she insisted on submitting only limited data on my husband's income to make it look like it was 50% lower.

He earns six figures and we own our house outright in one of the hottest markets in the country. It was bizarre. Even worse, a "senior mortgage officer" didn't even know what a Schedule C was--he said, "is that the name of a business?" Once we saw their unprofessional pattern we withdrew our application ASAP before we ever signed a mortgage with them.

We'll be going back to our local banker. Terrible experience.

I was into doing y VA loan. Telling me I need this and i need that done.

Need to get the Apprasial done . Rushing me to do that . if they had of waited i would not have to hsbevone done. They knew taking degorgerty items off my report would lower my score so i could not get the loan.

i cant see how removing them.would lower my ctedit score. Really think its a bunch of bull in doing that. They told me the VA required it , whrn i spoke to the VA in Virginia they said thry have nothong to do with the credit profile or anything , its all on the lender. So the Professional Marc Barsces lied to me about that .

When contacting them they never answered their phones and if i e -mailed them maybe a day latter. Then they say they tried to call me but there was no number from.them on my phone. SO SORRY CANT GIVE YOU THE LOAN CAUSE YOUR CREDIT IS NO GOOD NOW. BEFORE IT WAS and now its not.

Thats a bunch of bull .

If anyone asked me about Wyndham Capital Mortgage I will not paint a pretty picture . And i will ride the VA to drop you from giving loans out to our Veterans so you can rip them off.
