Your Commercial about “Before You Do It”

Your very suggestive childhood bedroom scene in your Before You Do It commercial STINKS!! Way too vulgar, and furthermore, Im done with purchasing from your company.

Hard to get into the 15 stick pack

I'm probably the reason you started selling the 8 pack. I take alot of medicine and I suffer with dry mouth, around 2008 I started purchasing the 3pk(6)@ a time. Now I buy the 8pk (3) @ a time, what I would like to know is how much money you save by taking the starter strip out.

Promotion; needing Extra gum in single packets

I am doing a company wide promotion using Extra gum packets. I have only been able to find the newer and larger packs. Is there anyway to get ahold of the old fashioned smaller gum packs like Wrigly/Mars is using still for JuicyFruit? I would even use any trail size packs. Thank you!

Gum sticks are smaller

Dear Wrigley, did you think we wouldn't notice? The gum wad that I get when I chew a stick of Doublemint Gum is significantly smaller than it used to be. This smaller wad is not as satisfying as it used to be. I am sure you did this so that we would put in a second stick. As a user of your gum almost all of my 69 years, I am deeply sad that you would pull this trick. You should have just raised the price, instead of giving us an inferior product. I will find another gum company that will be more up front and not disappointing.

User's recommendation: Tell Wrigley to go back to same size sticks of gum.

Product suggestion

As a minimum pack a day gum chewer I would strongly suggest that you go back to the easy open pack with pull for removing the wrapper. The existing new wrapping has gotten to the point of thinking to change brands. It is unbelievably a pain in the you know what to open. From a veteran Wrigleys chewer please put the old wrapper type back on.

Complaint about freedent gum packaging.

I have been chewing your freedent gum product for over 15 yrs. it is a great product. My complaint is with the amount of glue. That you use on the individual packages. There is not enough glue to hold the contents until you are finished with the package. As you open each individual package. The package starts s to come apart down the side an the bottom . I purchase your product a case at a time. Also I have to tape each package with scotch tape to hold it in place. After 15 yrs thats a lot of tape. I hope you will rectify this problem soon? As it is a simple fix! I do love your product as it is the only gum. That doesnt stick to my dentures ! Thank you. Bill Mason

Your gum!

I am 70 years old and have been chewing your gum since I was a kid. I just have one question. Why is your gum so damn hard?. It gets worse as you chew it. What did you change. I know you changed something

Complaint on quantity of Airways Blackcurrant Chewing gum!

I purchase every week 4 packets of your Airways Blackcurrant Chewing gum, but are you aware that there is only 9 pieces of gum in each packet instead of 10. I don't know if this is a machinery problem or not, but there is something not quite right. Miss B.Burgess.

Lifesavers mints empty wrappers

I purchased several bag of Lifesafers Mints Mint O Green as I normally do however several of the individual wrappers were empty. I happened to pick up these bags as they were on sale and now I am wondering if it was because they were damaged?

This can happen and does, at the factory. Many years ago I, too used to enjoy these Lifesavers Mints and would do so at night while I read for an hour or so before going to sleep.

It all ended when I went to my dentist and he found 6 small cavities, mostly in my front teeth. At that time Lifesavers didn't offer the mints in sugar free form.

They do now and if you can find them they are a better option for people who enjoy wintergreen flavored mints. The taste is the same in both.

Damages done to tooth

BEWARE OF WILLIAM WRIGLEY JR. COMPANY, AND THEIR PRODUCTS The following is my letter of complaint to Wrigley regarding Starburst candy, and the damages it did to my tooth. Do not buy products from this company. ANTHONY RAYMOND 973 Circle Drive Arbutus, Maryland 21227 (410) 247-**** traymond51@***.com ______________________________________________________________________________ November 12, 2017 Wrigley COMPLAINT: 1.On November 9, I was offered a Starburst candy by a friend. Almost immediately my crown for tooth #19 fell out. 2.I saw Dr. Smith on November 15. He informed me that in addition to the crown displaced, part of my tooth was affixed to the crown. He said that there was not enough of my tooth left for him to save the tooth. He referred me to Dr. Bastacky for a complete tooth extraction. 3.Dr. Bastacky extracted my tooth #19 on 11/17. He informed me that I would need an implant to correct the damage done to my tooth. 4.In addition I will need a new crown and follow-up care from Dr. Smith. A copy of his estimate is also enclosed. I have enclosed as a PDF file copies of these transactions and expenses, as well as estimates. Obviously, these do not include the pain and suffering and discomfort I have endured, and will continue to endure for further treatments. I might add that until this experience I have always had all of my teeth in my adult life. I have waited weeks for someone to forward me a mailer as promised. I would hope that you address my complaint quickly so I can receive my implant. Anthony Raymond On November 10, I made my first calls to both Mars and Wrigley. In addition I also emailed Mars my complaint on their website. I was assured my complaint would be addressed quickly, and I would receive a mailer, in which I was to enclose the Starburst wrapper. The following week I received an email from Mars requesting me to call them, which I did. It was a waste of my time, as they told me to contact Wrigley again and make a new complaint. Dr. Bastacky extracted my tooth #19 on 11/17. My cost was $254. He informed me that I would need an implant to correct the damage done to my tooth. His estimate is for this procedure is $3,445. In addition I will need a new crown from Dr. Smith. Dr. Smith’s estimate is $2772. Between November 10 and December 12, I made 11 calls to Mars and Wrigley. Each time I was given the same response. On December 7 my call to Mars resulted in a conversation with a Wrigley supervisor who chastised me for calling Mars instead of her. I reminded her since I had spoken directly with her the previous week, I felt calling Wrigley for the sixth time was a waste of my time, and maybe my complaints to Mars would prompt her to send me the mailer I had been promised repeatedly. She told me not to call Mars again. On December 12, I finally received the mailer dated November 17! This mailer said I had 30 days from the date of the letter to respond, or my complaint would be invalidated. Now I suppose they can say they did not receive my response in time. In addition they include 3 coupons valued at $4 each, which expired on January 1, 2018. Their letter indicated these coupons were for the inconvenience I have suffered. On March 5, 2018, I had to return to Dr. Bastacky for a bone extraction, due to the damages done by Starburst. This was another cost of $187. It is apparent that both Mars and Wrigley do not care about their product safety, not about the safety of their customers. The Starburst was defective in some way. There is no disclaimer anywhere on their wrapper regarding product safety. I have exhausted all of my many attempts to resolve my physical situation amicably. Both Mars and Wrigley failed to address my many complaints. They have been negligent in their efforts to resolve my claim. What’s unacceptable is not only they failed to remedy their damages, but they ignored my complaints. I might add that until this experience, I have always had all of my teeth in my adult life. My damages total $6821.30, not including all of my other expenses, and my pain and suffering. Wrigley and Mars, solution was to offer me $12 in coupons. They do not care about their consumers, not the safety of their products. I invite anyone to contact me for additional information.

I bought a large 3lb 14oz bucket of M&M peanut candies. Inside of one of the candies was a hard rock like substance and when I bit down on it, it broke my tooth.

I immediately contacted 10/01/20 Mars and was asked to send pictures, etc. This is still ongoing as of today 1/22/21 and I am still being put off and given the run-around. How can a company the size of Mars/Wrigley continue to put people through this type of stress.

We are doing our part but they hire offsite operators to just take notes when a customer calls. Carolyn Harrington
