Verified Reviewer | Las Vegas, NevadaScammed out of a machine
Got a machine a 4 x 8, never did get it running finally they said they would take it back and replace it. Needless to say I needed a table for a contract and so happened to come across the same table a guy was selling, I picked it up for a couple thousand with Hypertherm setup.
Same as I had before. Needless to say they sent an ltl to pick up my table, sent it back on a skid, they told me to keep the computer until they sent the new machine. Which I still have, they went out of business and now I have no machine but a big freaking bill.
So pissed off I sold the other machine because I want nothing to do with Wright or their garbage products ever again. They never even sent me the RA number they promised, but the truck showed up when I was out on a delivery and my guys loaded it...screwed.
- Yes they are
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Never buy from them or trust their word.

Verified ReviewerI bought a machine from them
I see a lot of people having issues with receiving and getting issues on their machine. I remember when I bought my unit from them.
It was only about a month late. I had some issues assembling it. I admit it was little hard to get straight answers on assembly. Theres so much that they put online to help people.
I admit when I first got my machine together it pissed me off. I had a faulty controller, but they shipped one out right away under warranty. I made so many mistakes getting mine together that I felt ripped off. It took me over 6months to turn out clean parts.
Then took me about 3-4months to start getting the design work down. Im over 2 years with my unit and I still have a few problems sometimes.
I know when you call there they are so overwhelmed with calls and production time is way behind and its still a new company trying to make it. I personally have been there 4 times. Every time Im in Vegas I stop in to say high plus look in on new product.
I know the name of the game get all the sales you can then worry about product. They are trying to get production more of a flow but still learning. I think theyve only been in business for 3-4years. Not enough time to learn.
More tech support would be nice tho then one guy teaching and trying to help customers. Not all of us are on 9-6hr days.
Little more brutal truth about shipping would help. Hey if my order isnt done and shipped its not. I need to know where I stand because Im trying to run a business as well.
Im ordering this product to help my business.
I learned on crash course with my machine and Im still learning. Just remember your not the only person calling with issues. So sometimes you catch people on bad day.
So never take business personally. State your issues and try to come to mutual agreement because once you get a pissed off nobody listens.
- Family owned
- Longer lead times
Preferred solution: I got my machine. Just need little tech help

Wright CNC continues to deny my request for a refund. They sent an email stating that "at this time they could not refund my money. Once all table had been shipped that would look at it then" They have also voiced to other people on social media - that "they are not worrying about lawsuits or refunds right now"We have followed up with the AG of Nevada requesting help with this matter.
Order and paid in full for our table on Feb 14, 2020. Promised deliver was 6-8 weeks.
We are currently at 22 weeks with no table. Requested a refund on June 9th, the company will not comply with our request for a refund. We have filed with the BBB, FTC, and Attorney General of Nevada.
BUY BEWARE!!!!! Owner and employees will go on social media and try to make it appear that you are not willing to work with them, or they will just lie.
- Do not honor their cancellation policy or reply to bbb
Preferred solution: Full refund

Customer Being Ignored
I've tried so many times to get help with my machine and I haven't heard back from anyone. I placed my order on Oct, 2019, received this in March 2020 and have been trying to get this up and running since.
At this point, I'm feeling scammed.
- It was a great price
- It does not work
- Zero customer service
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution

Not worth the money. Horrible experience
As a recent customer of Wright CNC.
And a student of Wright CNC's "Institute" I am giving my full review of the product,
the class, and the company & support.
Wright CNC Institute:
First off, the so called class was a waste
of my money, and probably a waste of anyone else's money.
I would highly recommend keeping your money and
Learning on youtube. I learned more on youtube than I learned
from the class. It is easy to see that neither Chris (the owner)
or any of his employees have been in this business long enough
to be teaching a class on it. They need to go to a class themselves.
Wright CNC Product:
Next. The product seems okay, but it seems as if they have cut many corners.
It was poorly package and damaged.
Even down to the low grade bolts they use. The frame CAN NOT hold
too much weight. I put a full sheet of 1/2" steel on the table and you
could see it give way a bit. That could be dangerous. They should have made
the frame out of a thicker material. The electronics are the cheap electronics
found on eBay for around $300 plus a computer that couldn't cost more than $100.
It was an ILLEGAL copy of Windows, an ILLEGAL copy of MACH3, and an ILLEGAL
copy of sheetcam. Hey, I'm all for a company making a profit, but at least
give a customer what they paid for.
Wright CNC Support:
Before purchasing, I was like one of the guys. After purchasing
I was just a nuisance in the way of their next customer.
Shipping time was far longer than they originally claimed.
Getting someone to answer MY calls was like trying to get the
president on the phone. It was clear that they are screening calls.
When I got Chris on the phone, he was acting as if he was
a threat to me, as if he wanted me to be afraid of him personally.
That *** has no business running any business if he is
going to intimidate his customers. He is definitely playing
the ROLE of a professional, probably watch a few 'How To' videos
on running a business, but that can't change who you are.
Overall, Stay far away. The product is CHEAP and SUCKS!
This business is about to collapse, and you
don't want them to have your hard earned money when they do.
Greedy wright metal work!!!
Poor customer service over the phone. Things are not 100 percent ligit with wright cnc
Beware: Wright Metal Works - Wright CNC a NIGHTMARE
I purchased a product from this company. They were the best company to deal with, until they got paid.
After that, i was just not important anymore. Shipping was extremely late, I was given story after story, or my calls were simply ignored. When I finally recieved my order, it was poorly packaged and the product was damaged. We had to weld repair one of the linear guides.
They offered to repair. It for us, but we had to pay for the shipping ourselves, to and from. Which would have been over $100. After we repaird unit we got it all put together and realized that parts were missing.
We called and got Chris on the phone. He was very short with me, still upset about the previous issue. We had to gather the needed parts ourselves. Now finally, after nearly 3 months of orderin we powered up for the first time.
Everything worked okay, but all of the software was unlicensed and pirated. Instead of calling the unhelpful folks at Wright CNC we bought the licenses ourselves.
Over $400. So instead of continuing to deal with the company any further, we sold our unit and went with a local company.
