Travel Services & worldwide travel services a scam.

We paid for membership in a travel club named Worldwide Travel of Valencia, CA an independent contractor forTravel Services of Cherry Hill, N.J.. We found the employees of both companies incompetant to act as travel agents and the travel deals offered to be no better that those offered free from companies like Orbitz. Avoid these companies, they are a scam. If you are not satisfied with them they will not refund, your membership fees. The contract they have you sign does not allow you to take them to small claims court so you have no bargaining power. Stay away from them and tell your friends.

Yes we are real suckers, thought we knew better. Signed up and got a loan interest free for one year.

They said we could come back after one year and get interest free again.

Out of luck and refusing to help or talk with us. What a scam we got so taken.

Incompetant travel agents made false claims

Worldwide Travel Services of valencia. CA offers membership in a travel club which they claim will save you up to 40% on hotels, condos and cruises. Their personnel are not travel agents but clerks who could not plan a lunch much less a vacation. They could not save us a dime on a hotel and we got a better deal from Orbitz for a condo in Maui free of fees. The parent company for Worldwide Travel is Travel Services of Cherry Hill, N.J. They offered a free cruise for attending the sales presentation which we never got. They refunded a third of our membership fee because of poor service by their travel agents but will not refund the entire fee even though they admitted in writing that their service was floored.

Add me to the long list of victims that purchased the travel club membership from Worldwide Travel that is worthless. I have tried for two years to use the benefits and found it cheaper to book it myself online.

My first clue was the FREE cruise which ended up being a joke and due to their nasty attitude, I was able to get my money back and not go. I have tried on several occasions to get my membership back since they fail to live up to their obligations but have found that they moved without notifying their members. The Travel Service LLC state they have gone out of business.

I think contact the news media is the next step along with seeking legal counsel.

I called recently to book a condo in Palm Springs. I grew up in Palm Springs and there are thousands and thousands of condos there.

I was told by the woman answering the phone there were none available. I said, well, look outside of Palm Springs to neighboring communities. Her response was: Great, I found this condo in Lake Tahoe! I asked her if she knew where Lake Tahoe was and she did not.

I then asked to speak to her manager. They asked me to leave a message.

I never heard back from anyone. I am trying to get my money back.
