World Tour Off Road Equipment - Charge for service/products didn’t do
My complaint is for $165.00 worth of charges that occurred on May 4, 2020 at World Tour Off Road Equipment, LLC for parts ($60.00 front right brake caliper) and labor ($105.00) charges that were not performed on my vehicle. On March 23, 2020, I took my 2015 Jeep Wrangler to World Tour to have the front passenger axle seal repaired as it was leaking. The total charge for all work done including the axle seals was $964.48. On May 4, 2020, I had to bring my Jeep back to World Tour to have the axle seal repair redone as it was leaking again. At this time, I was told the left front brake caliper was sticking and should be replaced. I authorized the repairs for the replacement of both the left and right front brake calipers. I was invoiced for 2 front brake calipers at $60 each totaling $120.00 and labor rate of $105.00 for removal/installation of each brake caliper totaling $210.00. The total charge for all work done including the brake calipers was $612.15. On May 27, 2020, I had to bring my Jeep back to World Tour due to the right front brake caliper sticking. The total charge for all work done including the replacing the right front caliper was $385.00. I was told by World Tour that the problem was not the front brake caliper but my ABS module was bad causing my right front brake caliper to stick and would be around $3,000.00 to repair. On May 27, 2020, I had my vehicle towed from World Tour to Adams Jeep for repair. Adams Jeep fixed both of the front brake hoses as the cause for my brake issues. The total charge for all work done was $339.65. I am NOW finding out that on May 4, 2020, when I paid for World Tour for 2 front brake calipers at $60 each totaling $120.00 and labor rate of $105.00 for removal/installation of each brake caliper totaling $210.00. World Tour only replaced one of the calipers (the left front caliper). They did not replace the right front caliper but charged me $60 for the caliper and $105.00 in labor to replace it.
