World Of Beer

Good Evening...i have just left your World of Beer location on Fowler in Tampa. We went inside and were told that there is a 45 minute wait...ok fine...we then asked if we could sit at the bar...the Manager came over and said no..45 minute wait for the bar as well, although there were seats open...we then asked if we could get carry out instead...the Manger (white male, blonde spiky hair) said 45 minute wait for that as well, and by the way he was VERY abrupt, and offered No explanation whatsoever...just rude.

So i asked if we could just order a beer @ the bar and pay cash while we wait...he rudely said NO. So we left our cell number to be called for a waiting list...we walked out the front door...and proceeded to sit in the section they were NOT serving to wait...but all the furniture right there was broken, or did not have pads...etc. so we went to sit in the section they were serving ...JUST TO WAIT...turned chairs away from the table...and we were calling another World of Beer in Westchase to see if there was a wait...so i went back inside very politely to ask how far our name was on the list to the hostess...the VERY RUDE MANAGER appears again...asks if he can help me NOT IN A KIND OR HELPFUL MATTER, and i said i was asking how many names were ahead of (so i could decide if we should drive another 15 miles or wait) he said i have already told you it's 45 minute wait, i said i totally understand, what i don't understand is why i can NOT go get a beer while i am waiting...he then said...he then told me i could, although the hostess and himself just said i could not...but then he said "WELL I SEE YOU HAVE ALREADY SEATED YOURSELF So WE SHOULD JUST LEAVE!!!" WHICH WE DID NOT, i told him WE WERE SIMPLY SITTING DOWN TO WAIT...HE THEN TOLD ME TO LEAVE AGAIN & HAVE A NICE NIGHT EXTREMELY RUDE & SARCASTIC!!!

i walked out the door to get my husband...and he followed me almost as an escort ...at that point after all his rudeness, i did call him an a##hole...i will be honest and tell the entire truth of what took place...by the way the hostess was very polite..i have been frequenting World of Beer for many years in many cities...i am a 70 year old woman...NOT a troublemaker...he REALLY pushed me with his rudeness, unaccommodating way of handling that maybe he was having a bad day. This happened tonight May 29th around 9-9:30pm...i am not looking to gain anything by this, in fact i have never even written a complaint letter before...i am very upset & insulted at the way i was treated, i have owned 2 businesses in past, and would NEVER treat a client that way in the service business...this World of Beer is the closest to my house, i would like to continue to frequent this and other locations in the future...i bring this to your attention, because this manager, handled the entire situation extremely poorly and he was VERY rude to me...Wendy Anderson
