Sold a fake Meissen bowl.
Similar situation, I purchased an item at one of their auctions bidding on line that turned out to be fake. No refund, as they just didn’t care. Prior to bidding I enquired and they assured me that it was a genuine Meissen product, and their “experts” confirmed it as such. Upon receiving the item I had it checked out by a number of Meissen specialists, and every one of them said the same thing: FAKE! I tried contacting them a number of times but it’s a waste of time! I’m down about $3,000.00! (Bidding, commission, postage, insurance, etc.,) Buyer beware!!!

World of Antiques inc. sold me a fake silk rug
I purchased a silk rug from World of Antiques inc. in November 2014 It was not silk and they refused to take it back. I lost my money. And shipping costs which were considerable. Also they charged me 25% fee when the contract said 22% Also when I bid on the item. I saw a higher bid appear after mine and then it mysteriously dissapeared, and that is how I ended up with it. Before I paid and had it shipped the I asked the person at the company if he was sure it was real silk and he lied right to me and said it was.
