Not pay claim
- - Stage 4 cancer required immediate chemotherapy.
- - Insurer demanded a year of docs that didnt exist.
- - I'm out nearly $4,000 and they never paid.
Several weeks before my trip I went to the hospital and discovered I had stage 4 cancer and needed immediate chemotherapy. The doctor wrote a note to the insurance company but they wanted a year of documentation that didnt exist.
They never intended to pay the claim.
Im out nearly 4,000 dollars. I wish them to go out of business and go to .,,,

Not pay claim - keep asking for more info, dragging it out

NEVER BUY TRAVEL INSURANE FROM WORLD NOMADS !!!!!!!!!
They quote policies that are general and can be interrupted any way they wish. Who is to say how much is enough documentation.
When no more exists and what has already been provided is sufficient, it is their strategy to never process the claim. They never pay a claim.
All policies are to keep that from happening. Never but from World Nomads !!!!
I paid for my trip and shortly before the trip date, went to the hospital and discovered I had late-stage cancer that didn't show symptoms until too late. I had to cancel my trip; I provided all medical information I have, but it was never enough for them to process the claim, and so I am pissed and will do everything possible to smear their *** name.
They reviewed my case after I complained and concluded not enough documentation to process my claim, now 3 months old and all existing documentation was provided and sufficient. They do not even deserve 1 star.

I purchased their travel insurance for a SCUBA trip to the Socorro Islands. A few days before departure I fell ill with COVID and was not able to travel.
I took an at home test and come up positive.
I was not able to schedule an actual COVID test until the day of departure, due to availability in my area. They are trying to deny my claim because I tested positive on the day of departure, instead of before.
