Working Solutions poses as an Independent Contractor

Working Solutions poses as an Independent Contractor and they ask you to sign contracts. However, this company trains and micromanages you.

They monitor, direct and listen to all your phone calls, judge every word you say and if you don't make enough sales or talk fast enough they "end" your "contract" with no notice. As an independent contractor I acted my part, paid for space, equipment, services and more to do business. This cost me money, hundreds of dollars if not more. I found one of their systems cheating me out of pay so I started tracking it and turning it in, which ended my contract.

Any company that directs you, trains you and tells you how to do your job IS NOT AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. They are employers and subject to withholding tax. The last so called contract I got, required me to attend x amount of training hours for which I would not receive payment for unless I worked 50 hrs. I never got that far because they ended my contract shortly after; due to technical problems, and *** training material that wasn't even readable.

Now I am out for personal expenses and loss of time spent in training which technically should have paid for.

Don't work for this company. They are unorganized, unethical tax evaders.

Working Solutions Scammed me out of my last check

I worked a an independent contractor for Working Solutions but due to constant internal program issues and poor training, I and a few others contracts were terminated. I didn't mind the contract ending because I knew with the constant system errors and the lack of knowledge to resolve any issues that the client would soon pull the plug on the project anyway.

But the kicker came when they did not want to pay me for the last 2 weeks of the project. They told me that I was in violation of my contract, by quitting before I worked 172 hours. I explained to them I did not quit , YOU, Working Solutions terminated my contract, therefore I was not in violation, and am owed for the hours I worked.

I sent constant email regarding this matter with no resolve. I have contacted an attorney and we are looking into a class action suit for unfair labor practices.

Company doesn't want to pay me for my hours

I applied to become an Agent with them back in September with this company. I was offered a project back in October and I spent money to prepare for this project.

I had one prep meeting in which I and the other agents were informed we would get paid for by the trainer. However, they never paid me for my time then. But they told me once I get another project and start prep I would be paid for it. They contacted me again for another project, which I started on January 6th.

I went to prep everyday on Webex, and did my homework. The agents were told to invoice for 94 hours of which I did. We were supposed to take calls and use the systems we were learning about this past week. However, their systems and codes were not working.

So I would be unable to take calls. Since, this one system would be utilized to start and end calls, and to verify the Customers calling. I also didn't know I had to be wired. But I went out and got my Ethernet cord anyway, so more $ was spent for this project.

I don't have means to keep spending for this company. My trainer informed me that if I didn't take calls by a certain time, I wouldn't be able to continue with the project, and because I was wireless. I explained I didn't want to miss out on this opportunity, but it wasn't my fault. The systems weren't working on their end.

Which, I have proof of Support telling me it was a problem on their end not mine. I asked my trainer today, if I could invoice for the hours that I completed with them and she said I couldn't because I have to complete 172 hours for project. That is not fair! I worked my butt of doing their assignments which I scored 100s on and going to prep everyday.

I am going to report them to the BBB and other sources this week. They CANNOT get away with this. I want to file a complaint against this company. I should be paid for all the time and money I spent to prepare for these projects.

I could have been working my other job, instead of them wasting my time and money doing their assignments, homework and not getting paid. When they informed us we could invoice for our hours.
