Despicable customer service

Tutor LMS is a WordPress plugin. We purchased the pro version to enable us to access support however there is no support provided. We have been having multiple problems with the plugin including the fact that lessons and courses will not save. This has wasted massive amounts of our time and cost us money. We were previously with Learndash which was far better.

A year trying to get problem fixed!!!

You can use the plugin forever. It won't stop working after the first year of membership. They have a database of Domain names and it stops working fully after you. If someone else registers a domain and you cannot make it work with Users Ultra Pro Plugin because domain is already in their license database and it won't work. I have spent about a year and the many tickets I posted were never answered. Don't buy this plugin as the support is crap after buying the enterprise edition Igot no support.

User's recommendation: If you have a domain registered by someone else you could be buying a Dud.

Locked out from the get go.

I can log into my wordpress account, but it refuses to accept my email or user name upon admin login. I am trying to get my blog up and can’t even access it. And since Wordpress doesn’t provide direct customer service, I have to depend on the generosity of other users. This stinks! Wtf

They Blocked Me

They blocked me from my blog. I can see my site but they will not let me access it. I think it has to do with a post I made about guns (which nobody commented on btw) but was probably seen in "Reader" and irked someone's sensitivities. I just don't know. But I paid $120 for the site and domain and I have had no luck trying to contact Wordpress. I called a number and the guy said he would fix it for $150. Obviously there are conmen out there setting up websites and preying on suckers like me who should not have gone near this faulted company in the first place.

Worst Developer Experience

Doesn't matter whether you use their themes or your own. The platform is horrible. Not user friendly. Absolutely no flexibility. I've spend days developing a simple 2 page website. There are no updated manuals with clear instructions. Every theme you download has different exceptions and flexibility to change. The documentation stinks. It's only there to get you to spend more money on a premium theme which is also a miserable experience to implement. Fortunately I found WIX.com. I developed the same website in 45 minutes. Don't waste your time with Wordpress unless you want to spend a load of money on a professional developer. I think they should be forced to put a disclaimer on their front page that their software is not user friendly and is incomplete.

Overpaying for my Wordpress theme

Overpaying for my Wordpress theme
I bought Freshlife theme on July 21 and paid $63.50 and at the same time paid Bluehost $133.80 for hosting rights. On the same day Mojo has charged me $63.80 for the same theme even though I did not give them the permission to charge anything from my Visa card. I only have the proof of payment from Bluehost. I paid you by Visa but I was never issued with a proof of payment. I smell something fishy here. I never imagined that reputed companies like this can do such things. I emailed someone called Nicole who promoted the theme and also emailed Mojo but my complaints have fallen on deaf ears. soma1969@***.com

Don't open a WordPress account. You've been warned

I had a blog on WordPress. I was cyberstalked and took my complaint to the police where I live. WP legal claims that what falls under the state statute of "cyberharrassment" where I live is "commentary." Local police advised I delete account. I have no civil recourse because I cannot get an attorney necessary to redact my physical location from the person stalking me. It isn't a felony until I'm dead. Word Press legal has indemnified itself from anything that happens. I cannot ever delete the account. There are ways around it. Google is a good thing. Other people are dealing with this. You get what you pay for. If you really want to blog, find a safe domain and pay for it.

Word Press Has No Support and Transfer of Domain is Near Impossible

The transfer of domain names is a nightmare maze in Word Press. There is no Customer Support for Word Press at all, no chat, no phone number.... 8 hours later I figured out how to do the transfer, but I was not provided an Authorization Code necessary to complete the transfer. I had it check with ICANN to find out where my domain name went. They sent my domain name to Domains by Proxy. The domain I had attempted to transfer it to was iPage. I do not have an account with Domains by Proxy, therefore I have no way to get my authorization code.

OMG you are one of the biggest idiots of all times.

A domain and a website are the not the same thing

#691476

Next, I got an email for their "support" from Domain by Proxy. I sent them an email asking for the Authorization number.

In the mean time I realized that Domain by Proxy is a privacy service and so went in and disconnected the privacy setting and was able to make the transfer and dircet the code to my email.

Then I received the email from Word Press "support." Their version of "support" was to offer instruction on how to DECLINE the transfer! What part of how do I get the authorization code in order to Complete the transfer did they not understand!

WordPress.com Removed My Blog, Post & Ignored Emails

I signed up for a WordPress.com account and created a blog as millions of people do every day. It was on weight loss and I placed information, photos and a link to a website that sells a natural weight loss program. I had no problems other than trying to arranged things in a nice looking order. That is a problem with wordpress.com but I managed. The blog had been on the web for a week. Then I thought it would look better if I placed a decorative banner in the post and an attractive header photo, as many people do. Next thing I notice is my blog being removed and a warning. So, being new to wordpress.com I removed the banner since I figured that was the problem. Though, I don't know why since I see banners on wordpress.com blogs and everything else. However, I was using the free account. Anyway, I then sent a reply to the suspension as required to resolve the problem. I did not get a quick reply. The only reply I got in the 2 weeks was someone telling me that the banner was in violation of the Terms of Service. Well, I had removed it but they did not care. I sent many emails but was ignored. No one would help me or resolve the situation. On top if that, i was shut out of my own post material. I could not even look at it in my account or view anything at all. They kept me from my own post material and i could not copy it to use somewhere else. They just said that they would move it to a host using codes. Well, I was not going to pay for a host or I would have done that to begin with. WordPress.com has partnered with hosting companies to make more money. No surprise there and they also place ads in blogs to get money as well. I was not a paying member and they were making no money off of me. Shutting someone out, keeping them from their material and ignoring emails is bad business. They act like they are government run, which i don't doubt. I have heard and read other complaints. I went to another blog site and re-created my blog with no problems. I even used the banner in my new blog on another website and there was no problem. WordPress.com. is the problem. They seem very controlling and could care less unless they are making money.
