Woodland Place Apartments was nothing less of the shortfall that has become American business in today's times. The majority of the management team is not only inefficient but are quite erroneous with customer relations and have even went so far to tell me I am "out of luck." What kind of business practice is it to tell a customer that you can not help them and that you are completely unwilling to provide an effort to help? What business can adequately operate when the management is so behind on their own jobs, that they cannot keep up with the demands of the people who already live in the complex? The management team is so engrossed with the idea of filling their quota of apartments filled, that they lose site of the customers who have already signed leases. Work orders were hard to get completed, although the work staff were very kind and provided good support when they did end up making it to my apartment. Apart from my specific opinions on the falsities their management team portrays, I have transcribed a list of specific grievances that were wrong with the apartment throughout my stay. Among this list includes: horrible neighborhood conditions, lack of cleaning and fixing the apartment upon my move in (quite literally I had several work orders in my first week from the stove and dishwasher not working, to 3 bulbs being out, to the bathroom not being clean, to water still being on the floor upon move in, along with several other problems. Not only would I never recommend Woodland Place Apartments to anyone I know, but I would push them away from this complex in any way possible.
Woodland Place Apartments
Woodland Place Apartments is the worst place in Midland, MI to live. Avoid renting from them at all costs! They have poorly kept apartments, yet they attempt to change tenants for anything possible when it comes time to give back the security deposit. Their administrative staff is complete incompetent and rude. In addition, their buildings are falling apart and maintenance does little to improve this. I once had a balcony at risk of collapsing and when I put in a work order, a maintenance guy came out and put a few screws in it... Not to mention there is lead paint in the walls. AVOID RENTING FROM THEM. Or any other complex owned by Mark Management. (see website below) http://www.markmanagementco.com/ Lived there as a student (so excluding summers) for 3 years and was continually treated like trash. I'm pissed to say the least...
