AI Highlights
  • - The experience was the worst, with lost tools, money, and a broken bag.
  • - Eric the owner was rude, nearly laughing; Wolfman sent me a check.

This was the worst experience of my life. Besides loosing my tools, money on a bag that broke, having to get a new registration and loosing my lunch...I had to deal with Eric the owner.

He was a snooty *** He was almost laughing at me. I threatened to sue the dealer I bought it from and Wolfman and finally Wolfman sent me a check. *** from Boulder CO he is. Likely drives a smart car.

If I had to bet...I would say I am not the only one as my dealer confessed to me when I spoke with the dealer.

The dealer was good Eric Houghford or whatever is bad. Real simple.

Wolfman Motorcycle Luggage - Consumer Fraud

AI Highlights
  • - Defective Wolfman Enduro tail bag failed within 30 days, tools lost.
  • - They promised reimbursement and replacement but didn't honor it.
  • - Going to SD court.

Wolfman sold me a defective product and offered to reimburse for damages. THEY LIED!!!!

I bought a Wolfman Luggage brand enduro tail pack from Cycle Buy .com. The order was shipped at $68 or so. I replaced the stock Honda XR 650L tail pack. The one they sent looked cool. I went on vacation shortly afterwards for 33 days to Hill City South Dakota, Moab Utah, and Canon City Colorado. I was going through mud bogs and through rocky areas on the backside of Mt. Rushmore during a bit of rain. It was getting late and I went for my dinner. My bag with my tools and registration and big bag of cashews for dinner was gone. I looked under the seat and there was the wolfman bag. One strap let go and the velcro didn't hold. Looked like swiss cheese. I am almost 40 and don't exactly "Tear it up" anymore. The strap that did hold on caused it to lodge under the number plate on the left side and between the tire. This thing is weak junk.It wasn't even 30 days old!! All my tools except for a screw driver were gone. Cashews were gone except some residue. I went up and down the trail but couldn't recover my stuff.

I contacted Wolfman who seemed cool. I explained I would sue them and they agreed to replace my tools and refund the money I paid Cycle Buys.com. They gave me express directions for re-imburssement. I followed them. The $68 for the bag and return shipping as well as the tools came to about $178. $5 is for replacing registration card. I was in Canon City Colorado by the time I was able to get the tools from a Sears. They were Craftsman so I had to goto Sears. I didn't see one in the two weeks I was in Moab Utah. I emailed them to verify they got everything. I didn't charge for damage to fender or number plate. Some smug 20 something Prius driving Latte drinking kid emailed me back that they received everything and would let me know what their determination was. I about *** lost it!!!! They had said they would take care of it without dragging them to Pennington County South Dakota for small claims court.

So I am going back to South Dakota for court. I can file by mail. Suing them for $178 in compensatory damages and $11,872 in Punitive damages. This was malicious. They wasted hours of my time becuase they wanted to use buckles that come defective. LESS THAN A MONTH OLD OR SO AND IT"S TOAST!!! To make me waste my vacation time taking care of this then say they wouldn't honor their word!!!! I have spent the evening finding out who their resident agent was ( Scott St Clair) and who Cycle Buy.com's Resident agent (Robert H. ReinerJr. ) was. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DON'T SELL STUFF THAT WILL LAST THROUGH A MIDDLE AGED MAN'S RIDING, LET ALONE YOURS!!!!

JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK !!!

CROOKS CROOKS CROOKS CROOKS CROOKS!!!!
