Rockauto - Wiper motor gearbox shaft not the same as OEM.
by AmbiguousFurSeal #14524681.8
I ordered the correct wiper motor according to RockAuto's website for my 1996 Dodge Ram. After removing the OEM wiper motor, I noticed it has a smaller cone shape shaft exiting the gearbox than the one RockAuto sold me. The Rock Auto replacement motor has a larger shaft that is square/notched as it exits the gear box. RockAuto informed me I cannot receive a credit/return/replacement because the one they sold me is different than my OEM. I was actually told that. I'm not kidding. With exception of the first attempt to resolve this problem I have yet to discover a way to contact Rock Auto. RockAuto credit/return/replacement practices are designed to cheat/rip off the consumer. Pictures to follow.
