Winnebago Industries Complaints and Reviews
I had a 5mph front end collision when my 2012 Via rolled into a parking lot light concrete support base. My fault but no injuries or other property damage. Just replace the bumper and one headlight right? NO NO NO!!! Seems that Winnebago does not stock ANY replacement bumpers for their coaches, and they are not very understanding when a new one is needed. The factory parts rep told me to go to the local dealer and they could help (I am in NW...Read more

I am the wife of the original author to this complaint. I have much more to add since I am the one in touch with the service men at Winnebago Indiana. Our frameless windows have a inch opening in the corners of the seal. Tony Chupp, Director of Service & Parts states that the open is a requirement for drainage of the condensation build up between the screen and the window....again these are FRAMELESS windows, the result is an inch opening for...Read more

My Winnebago Tour has performed perfectly, it is a home away from home. All the convinces of our home, and more. Drives like a dream. I don't understand the complaints, it's the best and the service could not be better.

The costumer service Is the worst. I have called for two days and waited on hold. To see how long it would take for someone to answer my calls and I was still waiting after 45 mins and at exactly 5:00 O'Clock someone picks up and click the phone is dead! I kid you NOT! Someone actually is hanging the phone up right at 5:00 pm.
2002 Winnebago Industries Ultimate Advantage 40j Rv Review

We traded in a 2002 40' diesel class A for a 26' gas Vista. Huge difference in quality and workmanship. The new motorhome is so cheaply designed. Only a month old and stuff falling apart and rusting. Shame on you Winnebago, you lowered your stadnrds too much.
When I was a kid all I thought of in campers was a Winnebago. I finally was able to purchase one. Let's say not pleased at all. I purchased a 2016 winnebago destination 37rd fifth wheel. The windows aren't sealed right so there for bugs have got in the camper and made a home. The trim was wrapped with paper stain. Glue didn't hold it in place it's coming off everywhere. Contact company nobody wants to do anything about the problems we have. It's...Read more
We purchased one of the towable units, model 2106DS. We chose Winnebago because of their reputation and being a longstanding company in the industry. We figured they were doing something right. And the coach we purchase was really well constructed. There was just one major defect that we discovered about 4 months into ownership. The woodwork in the entire coach was either never sealed or the sealant the manufacturer used was not working. We...Read more
We bought a 2016 year closeout Minnie Winnie 27Q. After a weekend of cosmetic inspection followed by fixes. We got it back for a weekend trial. The short version is: kitchen and bathroom sinks not installed properly or sealed, Kitchen drain pipe leaked, Stove burner would not light, refrigerator would not work on propane, toilet fresh water flush valve was broken and sprayed the walls every time depressed. We had the good fortune of driving...Read more
I have a 2014 Winnebago Sunstar. My entrance door was separating from the outer frame. The frame is connected to the door hinges and the screws that go into the frame to keep the door together were coming out. I wrote a letter to Winnebago Industries and I received a call back from their customer service that since my unit was more than 1 year old they were not able to assist me. My unit only has 13,000 miles and my door was falling apart, and...Read more
We were never told that Warranty repairs are only done by the establishment the Motorhome was purchase from. We were told at time of purchase it could be taken to any Winnebago dealer, what a surprise no one will touch the coach. Bought it at the Hershey show from a dealer from Syracuse NY. Over 9 months trying to get simple repairs done what a nightmare. If the correct truthful information would have been given to us the purchase could have...Read more
We have a 2015 Vista 35F that we bought new in Aug 2015. Recently we noticed cracks on the roof. The roof is suppose to be covered for 10yrs. We had a representative from Winnebago come out to the dealership and were told the cracks would be repaired. When the dealerships body shop went to do the repairs he said this would not fix the problem. The problem is the the fiberglass was put on to tight & we need a new roof. I can't get anyone from...Read more
First the trim around fridge was water Damaged, then we noticed outside kitchen slide had the same damage. Returned to dealer (after waiting 4 months for parts) inside fixed but they "forgot" to fix outside. Now another 500 mile drive back and all they offered was free winterizing. Now on our first official camping trip (we've had it since 4/16), faucet falling off kitchen sink, handle fell off black tank valve, toilet coming loose and its only...Read more
