Verified Reviewer |Unauthiorized charges, poor shipo conditiions, bad itinerary
Guest relations sent a standard reply letter after our posting here.They apologized that the trip didn't "live up to our expectations" yet even cited the wrong ship.While offering a small (10%) credit on a future trip, they didn't address the sad shape of the ship, the over-priced cost while dealing direct with them rather than a travel agent and they missed the whole tenor of why we were dissatisfied. They should have provided a substantial refund instead of blaming it on our "expectations."
Dealing direct with them was more expensive than most of the other passengers paid through a travel agent.
The ship was in poor repair and should have been taken out of service well before this trip. The intinerary covered 6 stops, only three of which were interesting and worthwhile.
The ship's tour prices were outrageous and we were billed a fee the night before disembarking that no one could explain and which we had not authorized. Letters to the President and guest services were never answered.
