The owner of Window World located in Hilliard, Ohio, came out to my house on January 6th, 2017. He listed his prices, wrote an etimate. I called him the same day and told him we agreed to the contract and wished to proceed. The next step was to have his measurement guy come by to measure our five windows that needed replacement. This is a bait and switch situation: They advertise in their web site replacement window any size up to 4' X7' $189, plus tax. I called and they jacked up the price to $370.00 minimum because I needed to replace just one window. There is nothing in the add that say anything about the quantity of windows or cost for installation. Had a bow window replace which had 2 supports under it, they asked if i still want them which will only be decorative not suportive. I liked the look of the supports, they left 3" gaps between supports and window looked terrible. They also replaced my front door and never calked around the new frame, i had to do it because there was at least a quarter inch gap.

I heard good things about Window World and decided to go with them for replacement of original (1974) windows throughout the house. From the start, on installation day, pretty much everything went wrong. They showed up about 4 hours before the appointment time and woke me up early in the morning. We hired Window World after a free consult and quote. The sales rep measured all areas but said an "expert" will come out to measure at a separate time. That occurred without incident. We were told this would be done in one day (replacing 3 windows and 1 double door). We were told we had to have a header replaced or the (basement) door would not be warranted. Signed a contract and paid half on Friday July 8, 2016. Measurement appointment took 3 weeks July 28,2016 7 weeks( 4 weeks after measuring) Aug 24, 2016 I called to get update and the order has not even been put in yet!! After order is put in/released it takes 2 weeks to get the windows in! Then you have to wait for an install date. 10 weeks, 2 and 1/2 months later you "may" have the windows installed. I need to have several window locks adjusted and a cracked window replaced. I have called 5 times and was told someone would call back and schedule an appointment and over a 3 going on 4 week period still don't have an appointment. Like the window but truthfully couldn't recommend anymore with this kind of service.
