We purchased a sheet a of Wilsonart laminate from The Home Depot. The pattern was then on back order for several months as they decided to discontinue the pattern.

We weren't even sure that it would arrive. Today it showed up and both my husband and I were so excited to open it up. Please see the pictures of the extreme imperfections of black scuff marks that won't come off no matter how much we scrub. And to top it off there is a human hair imbedded in the print.

The quality is crap! The product was over $300. I'm so angry! Called Wilsonart who didn't do anything to correct their mistake.

Do not buy from them! They don't deserve anyone's hard earned money.

Unable to gain delivery confirmation.

There is no rating for this company.

Ordered a new kitchen via Wickes. Advised kitchen would be delivered separately from work surfaces.

Confirmation received for both. Can't fault Wickes delivery via Tuffnells. Kept updated all the way through.

As for Wilson Art, Email confirming order, await further details. Nothing.

Number given you a number to chase, which is out of action. Found the main office no. you listen to a voicemail, as your transferred number is always engaged!

No delivery time, now delivery slot...

nothing from them! TERRIBLE

We are a commercial Cabinet shop.

We do cabinets for the medical industry.

They have been bought out by an investment Co.

Out of all our suppliers they have yearly increases on materials, and by far are the most expensive. Having a Two million dollar shop I find it insulting that I can go to Home Depot and by the material cheaper than I can with my cabinet shop discount in reading Ma.

I have repeatedly asked the sales rep why Joe home owner can by one sheet of laminate from HD cheaper per sq. ft. even tho I by 100's.

His stupid answer was HD has a better buying power nationally.

So why buy from you. When I ask him about their solid surface Gibralter( that was being made in Korea) and why it is almost as expensive as Corian another stupid answer It's still a little cheaper.

At least Corian is made in America.

Why buy Wilsonart ?

I don't have a good answer. neither do they.

Resolved: Wilsonart 1730/1731 glue issues

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We started using the Wilsonart 1730/1731 glue back in 2012. We had no problems with those projects.

Last year we started receiving calls from clients about jobs from 2014 delaminating. Wilsonart and Wurth Wood are of course not accepting any blame. I have had other local shops contact me about the same issues in the same time frame. As of last week we are still having clients contact us about jobs from 2014.

We have been in business since 1974 and have personally never seen anything like this happen to our products in all our years in business.

Please contact me if you are also having issues at courtalis@***.com. Other local shops are coming together on this.

Wilsonart stay Away

wilsonarts a joke. Bought their summer carnival countertop.

When we got it where the cut for the corner was made a the elbow looked like two different products spliced together not a match. Talked with the salesman from Wilsonart. He tried to tell me that was what it was supposed to look like because Granite( Which it was to mimic) had different looks . We purchased from Lowes.

They came to the house to inspect and agreed that the product was unexceptable. Lowes in turn called Wilsonart and received the same spiel I got.

Stay away from Wilsonart, they have no interest in pleaseing the customer. You are sold to and forgot about.

Great laminate flooring

My wife and I are very disappointed that Wilsonart no longer makes their 7'' plank laminate flooring. We had the Watermark Maple laminate installed in our kitchen over ten years ago and it looks as good as the day it was installed!

Not a scratch on it. Fantastic floor and feels like you're walking on wood. Many of the newer laminates feel like plastic. I know because we had some put in our daughter's room about two years ago.

If anyone has a suggestion of a current laminate that is high pressure and as scratch resistant as the Wilsonart we'd appreciate the tip as we need to do our living room and dining room areas now due to pet issues. Thanks.

I love my Wilsonart laminate floor. I've had it for about 8years now and with two large dogs there are no scratches and it still looks great!

Any suggestions on other brands since they are discontinued?

Cracked wilsonart countertop

very disappointed when I called your complaint dept. at least 2 years ago.

Rude woman said our warrantee ran out 2 days before I called, (how convienent). She told me it would cost $835 to repair, use our material of where they cut out for Farmer sink, $35 for glue, $800 for labor. That is insane. I love the countertops but would never recommend them as this snake like crack started back where I would not even be using it.

Just happened and keeps going. I am very fussy about taking care of my things and never abused the countertops with hot dish or hitting anything on it, just happened. We cannot afford $835 to have this fixed but think the company should make good of it.

Please contact me at email mugs1953@***.com or call: 815-784-****, leave a message. Unsatisfied customer with cost to fix this.

Wilsonart Laminate Peels Repeatedly!!

Our contractors put WilsonArt laminate on ALL of our custom cabinetry. 3 Weeks after occupancy, it began peeling back with no rhyme or reason. Our contractors happily replaced it. Weeks later, it began happening again. The contractor AND supplier came in to inspect if it was a site condition and took some cabinet doors to send to the manufacturer (WilsonArt) for testing.

WilsonArt claims there is nothing wrong with the product and they refuse to to have our site redone at their expense. No integrity here. The laminate is ***. Don't go down this route unless you want nothing but problems. It's been a year of phone calls and empty promises...

What poor business ethic. Too bad.

Our contractors and supplier are now refusing to purchase or install WilsonArt products.

Im surprised to hear this-Ive been in the business 20 yrs. and never had a problem with laminate tops-without there being a manuf.

problem and most of the time the problem woud make itself apparent immediately, during installation at the latest.

In my experience we have only seen installation related problems or adhesive failure - very little goes wrong with laminate. Wilsonart definitely one of the best suppliers out there.

WilsonArt Laminate Flooring Bad Quality

We bought the top of the line commercial flooring made by WilsonArt for a high end dermatology office/spa. We were told that this is the most resistant material and that it would withstand all sorts of damage and not get scratched or dented. Supposedly, this flooring is much better than real harwood floor and should last much longer.

The office is very well-kept and we are meticulous with cleanliness. There are no pets, rarely children and no food is allowed.

Even tiny amounts of water damaged the floor, like slight splashing from washing hands or dampness from rain.

We had it installed in June 2009 and we have had to replace the flooring once already from water damage, costing us over $10,000. Now it is damaged again. The first time there was more water, but the second time, we couldn't even locate the source of the water leakage; there was no rain, no spilled drinks, no splashing from hand washing.

True, it has no dents and scratches, but the edges of the planks are all warped and we are needing to replace it for a second time. We have three other floors that we installed floors and thankfully, we installed high end real hardwood floors. These floors have been a much better purchase and we are very happy with them.

Now that it is damaged again, we are considering replacing the entire floor with a different material. We will never buy WilsonArt again.

I had a similar problem, my central air unit froze up and when the ice melted the water migrated under the flooring and the insurance paid to replace it, but since I had another prior claim from items stolen from my car the same year my homeowners insurance was cancelled and had to get high risk insurance for 5 years that increased my premium by $1500 per year. Then several years later I had a small roof leak that wasn't detected because it ran inside and exterior wall and the first moment I noticed any water was when I stepped on the flooring and water squirted up from the sides.

This time it's out of pocket.

My advice is never put this stuff anywhere near plumbing or on a basement or a slab foundation. He can hide water leaks and cause you massive grief.

We had Wilsonart watermark maple laminate flooring installed in our kitchen in 2002. We did have one warranty issue with separation around a heating vent in the floor that was repaired but separated again a year or so later.

As it was in a hallway area we just live with it. However, the floor has worn like iron.

No scratches, dents-nothing. I wish they still made it (can't find it anywhere so am assuming it's discontinued) We are considering putting Coretec Plus vinyl laminate in our living room but would like to read some reviews first as this is a newer product.

Lowes offered to replace my bad Pergo floor but there is a caviat. They never did a moisture test when it was originally installed.

Now they are offering to replace it at 1/3 of the cost. This sounds fishy to me.In the installation instructions, Pergo clearly states that there should be a moisture test performed when installing on a concrete slab such as was done in my home. However their subcontractor never did this.

Lowes is telling me that that was how it was done in 2005. What a bunch of *** - sounds like they are trying to wriggle out of their mistake. This will cost me another $1400 after spending $4000 already.I'm not sure if I want them ever to do any other work on my home.

Guest

Don't buy Pergo! I did and had it installed by Lowes (their "factory authorized subcontractor") in my hallway, kitchen and powder room.

From day one, I had issues with transition strips and moldings coming loose -all were replaced numerous times at additional cost to me for material. This one has a 35 year warranty but in just 5 years the flooring has warped, corners are cracking, sections of laminate are peeling, and the boards are loosing color - every joint of this floor moves when you walk on it. If you are barefoot your feet will be pinched by the loose planks. Pergo won't honor their warranty because I have a slab foundation. But this is the product that Lowes recommended and it is endorsed by Pergo for installation over concrete!

I am stuck with pieces of junk instead of the beautiful floor that Pergo & Lowes promised. See Pergo's website and the great dane running across the flooring -it is a pack of lies. This floor won't hold up so save your money.

I'm out over $4400 and the floor looks terrible! It will never be functional.

Wilsonart laminate floors defective

One week within installation of the floor, after we first washed it the floor began to delaminate. We notified the dealer and after nearly 3 months of working with the dealer, distributor and a factory rep they have refused to honor the warantee because they claim that our small dog caused the problems.

I state again that the floor failed in a dozen spots within one week.

There is no way a small dog could cause this problem in a weeks time in as many areas as there are problems.

Wilsonart does not stand behind its warantee and we would not recommend that you use their product in any area that will have even the slighest bit of moisture.

I have the same problem with Wilsoart they like to use your pets as a way out of there warranty.

My Wlisonart flooring is buckling at the seams in many place in the house.

Wilsonart had there Installation contractor come out to take up a sample of my Laminate flooring for testing.

So I pick a spot under the table in the middle of the living room. It has a 2" clearance from floor to bottom shelve( no way pets can crawl under it.)

Well you can guess the out come from Wilsonart Testing 1.) The pets have caused all the problems and 2.) Not enough glue in the seams.

The patched floor looks like JUNK in the middle of the living Room and it is a safety concern with raised and sharp edges. I had a handicap 13 years and 8 month grand daughter to worry about with the raised sharp edges.

I have notified Wilsonart of the problem but got no Response from anyone.
