As someone who has interacted personally and professionally with William C. Bradford, I can speak to my own experiences.

As a learned man Bill must certainly know by now that a man's (or woman's) character is his fate. Heraclitus the ancient Greek of Ephesus observed and coined this well before Christ.

To be fair, I do not currently keep in touch with Bill nor do I have knowledge how he may have grown as a person or possibly changed for the better. He may very well have turned a new leaf. What I do remember from earlier times is how negative, disruptive and unfriendly he was at times on both a personal and professional level.

Others apparently experienced this at his law School in Indy as well as at other places and thus he was identified repeatedly as "uncollegial". In the digital age his character was painfully revealed.

Chauvenism, racism, deception and threatening violence are no ways to serve, grow or make oneself or others happy. Bill should NOT view himself as a victim or feel entirely shunned as he is the author of his own life story. I believe he was for the most part treated fairly before people parted ways with him over the years.

He influenced his outcomes and the fallout was mostly appropriate and suitable to him.

The trail of burnt bridges Bill left behind speaks volumes and what I have gleaned from others' experiences with him have only reinforced and validated my own memories of him as the piece of work he was.

This seems tragic as Bill at times was so fun and book smart yet he lacked emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills. In the end I did not feel true joy, enough shared interest nor commitment from him.

I can only wish him health, peace in his heart and to continue to learn, teach grow and reach beyond his wildest dreams.
