Got Injured by a clerk and then got treated badly by owner
I got slammed into by an inattentive clerk at Wild Birds Unlimited in Madison, WI. The clerk did not dispute her responsibility, but shortly after was laid off or otherwise hidden while their insurer tried to lowball payments for my concussion and other injuries.
When I called to check on my insurance claim, Owner Bob Ross, irritably told me not to come back if I was going to talk to the clerks. So overnight I went from loyal customer to a troublemaker.
That's the joke life plays on you when you are injured in a store where the owner has no heart or integrity.
There are plenty of cheaper and better places to buy seed than from a guy like Bob Ross.
