Resolved: Never received item, no response from seller

The company contacted me to let me know my item was on back order, and I was given the option to wait or get a refund. I chose to wait and the item was delivered as promised well packaged and in brand new condition.

Update: I was notified by PayPal that the item had shipped and a tracking number was provided. I received the item just a few days later on April 22nd.

The wig was definately brand new, and came well packaged in the original box. I have mixed feelings about this company. Both times I've ordered from them, I have gotten brand new, name brand wigs at approximately half the price they can be found literally anywhere else.

On the other hand, the shipping time seems to be anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks, which would be tolerable if they would respond to email or phone calls, or in some way keep you updated on what's going on. I would recommend this seller based on the price and the quality of the merchandise-- but just know if you order from them it may take months to get your item and you probably won't get any response whatsoever to any message that you send.

Update: On April 1st I received a call from Wigs Gone Wild to let me know that my wig had been on back order and offering to either refund my money, or wait for the wig. They said it might be as long as 2 more weeks before the wig is available to be shipped to me.

I agreed to wait. I will update the review again after I receive the product.

I ordered from WigsGoneWild the first time last year. That order took a couple of weeks to arrive, and the company did not respond to messages or emails. Because their prices are SO much lower than just about everyone else, I decided to give them another try. On March 1st 2019 I ordered another wig, total cost $112. Within an hour of payment I got a system generated email stating my order status was changed to "awaiting fulfillment". Two weeks went by, nothing. At three weeks I sent a message through the website "contact us" link. Nothing. A few days later, I sent an email. No response. 26 days after the order I sent another email, and called the phone number. No answer, but I was able to leave a voicemail. To date there has been no response. I am pretty sure I am just out $112. I cannot recommend this seller.
