TAKING 2 lots MONEY - For One Seat…

ON recent afternoon after just coming out of hospital that same day I saw online ‘Meet Up’ groups. I’d never known of or been to any before so felt it might cheer me up.

One was London registered company WhoLondon, with events for over 50’s but without showing any costs for London Disco music that evening so I sent an email.

I had already clearly read online ‘You can Unsubscribe at any time,’ which made me feel and think they were secure as they were a company that meant what they write?

The owner phoned and before I’d had time to recheck online she phoned and I ended up paying £45 for ‘membership’ plus £15 (I think) for event. Feeling things were OK as I had already read as pointed out “You can Unsubscribe at any time.”

But I hadn’t had time or seen their month free trial on their site or their £15 off for three months leaflets, etc.!

Nothing was discussed or mentioned regarding these ‘Free Tasters’ to see if I would like to try WhoLondon out first?

I also paid In Advance £18 (including one free drink) for an awful chaotic type meetup moving round tables - both sides moving? Never known such a thing for that and we all and l missed out for me 6 others I didn’t meet! All were woman bar 3 men and the main majority were first timers. + I’d paid ‘in advance’ £5 for (Introduction) only; tea shop visit this Good Friday. I am since unwell again - I am 76 years but most think I’m about 60 which is good. And I asked for the unused part of my membership 11 months of Who London membership to be refunded back to me. Plus the £5 of cause I’d paid for in advance also refunded.

They flatly refuse to give me back even one penny back.

In law if a proprietor can sell that seat again re (in a tea shop) they should refund that money. Not take 2 lots money for one seat…

They WhoLondon registered company WhoLondon, flatly refuse to give me back even one penny. AVOID like the plague. And don’t believe a word they WRITE! OR SAY???????

Meetup events I’ve further attended have each had the one and more hosts and I’ve never paid more than £5 which includes the free first drink.

ALL WITHOUT PAYING OUT FOR THE YEAR MEMBERSHIP IN ADVANCE -

WITHOUT PAYING OUT FOR ‘events’ IN ADVANCE LIKE THEY DEMAND…

Rentalcar Rip Off. I do not do business with rentalcars.com or Traveljigisaw Limited in London.

They are dishonest by hiding hidden charges. They force you to pay a deposit to hold the car. Then they send you a new confirmation and that's when you find out the deposit is now non refundable with 250$ in hidden charges. I was told if you want to get it back all back, you then need to pay the balance.

I did that and got another confirmation with further hidden charges and now I am in trouble. You get half of your money back and they keep the rest of the money. I will find a car rental at the airport even if I pay more. I am fighting them but beware of all rental car companies.

They are in this business for the money and to RIP you off.

The document below comes from the contract of Ace car rentals in Australia where the hidden charges were shown to me after I paid my non refundable deposit. All our vehicles have Minimum Cover included which has an Excess of $4,000 that will be charged to your credit card in the event of any damage to the vehicle while on hire, Minimum Cover also has a Bond of $250 that will be held on your credit card for the duration of the period
