Too much favoritism

I was told I had 1 week beginning each quarter to change my mind and get a full refund I decided after my first 2 months it wasn't what I wanted to do as a career when I told them I was told I would still be responsible for the full tuition amount of $26000 so of course I finish the whole program. I was also told they would with internship placements regardless of where I lived, have help with job seeking well guess what I wait almost 4 weeks for a internship only to be told I had to wait 3-4 month after graduation date to get one because they had so many students still waiting, so I had to find my own site for internship and once I notified them I found one they tried to shift another student who had graduated 2 month before me.

Once I completed my internship I called for job search assistance well I was told to go on Craigslist, post my resume on job sites. I graduated in 06' I found a job and worked in the field for only 2 years and haven't been able to go back into the field because of lack of experience and when I did go in for interviews when I mentioned I graduated from Weatern Career college it was the employers just stopped the interview.

Changing the name isn't going to anything it's still a rip off I'm now still paying on this and I don't even use it plus I notified them I didn't want it.

I've worked in Financial Aid and can say with absolute certainty that if you don't cancel in time on a particular semester you will have to pay for that particular semester but it's 100% illegal to charge for the entire program even when someone opts out. You should have done your homework and Googled it, never assume what an employee is telling you is 100% correct. When you do you become responsible for the outcome and you yourself screwed yourself.

Short Review on July&nbs-04:00;13,&nbs-04:00;2016

I had the worst customer service ever! Mike Smith is shady!

He asked for my PIN number and harassed me! They did not give me my refund. The class canceled I wasn't informed!

The management here is terrible! They like to take your money without you becoming successful!

What did you people expect?

I graduated from Western Career College back in 1994 in Medical Assistant. Back then, the school was much better and I did quite well for myself. However, the school only cost $5, 500 back then. What I do not understand is: why would someone pay $26, 000 to enroll in an ultrasound technology program that IS NOT ACCREDITED! How retarded are you? I mean, does anybody ever do any research on these programs before signing a contract for $26, 000? You guys have the Internet, for God sake. So, it is not like you have to leave your house to research the school.

Before I enrolled in Western Career College, this is what I did. I CALLED HOSPITALS AND ASKED THEM, "I am considering enrolling into Western Career College, Would you hire a graduate from this school? Have you hired graduates from this school and were you happy with the results? Would I need any form of certification to be hired in your center. Thank you very much for the help." IT IS THAT SIMPLE PEOPLE.

I have been scammed before (credit offer with a $250 dollar up-front payment. I lost the $250) and I think it sucks for hard working people to be scammed out of their money, especially in a recession. But come on, you really have no one to blame but yourselves. To spend $16, 000-$26, 000 on the promise of a salesman and a brochure, without verifying any of it by calling hospitals or researching it on the Internet was just lazy on your part. I hope it is a lesson learned.

these complaints suck and it comes down on the people that want to do good for a change. I wanted to know is that if Western career college was a scam.

Not talked down on how *** I was or anyone else.

Western Career says that they are a credited school.

Mistreated me when I needed to drop out

I needed to drop from my Criminal Justice course of study, due to financial reasons. I was not accepted very well with the counselors, and staff.

The one counselor, who is probably not with the company anymore, grilled me on my reasons, and I felt I had to defend myself. I felt belittled.

Also, the teachers did not seem to have any control over the unruley students. I felt uncomfortable at times, and it was hard to concentrate.

I enjoyed my instructors, but that was it. I lost my will to study, due to lack of discipline in the classroom.

I went to WCC in a different program, pretty much we have the same situation on what to go through in there. Mine was about being charge for 2 classes that didn't take yet and was told that they already paid the teacher. The teacher was not even there to teach yet!

Western Career College is a scam

Western Career college will take your money and give you discrimination. I am a 4.0 student at this school, have already completed the program and paid $33,000.

The director of the surgical technology program, Karen Shirley has droped me from the program after graduating with honors. Karen Shirley bases students grades on how she feels about them rather than their hard work. Karen has become too power stricken in her position as director of surgical technology. She is sending people out into surgery based on the favors they do for her so in turn, these people are dangerous to the patient because they don't know what they are doing.

Due to a failing grade on a test, Karen is dropping me from the program. While another student of caucasian decent made deadly mistakes and passed the same test.

I don't feel i should have to pay for this dicriminatory school where my credits wont transfer.

This just looks like someone playing the ever present race card. If you would have left out the part where your black it would sound more valid. It's hard to take someone whining about the issue is that they're black and that's why they were mistreated seriously because ppl use the race card constantly over every tiny little thing.

Yeah i can agree on WCC is a scam i was the first well myself and5 other students to graduate from their HIT program. Basically you end up with a 17,000 debt to be a receptionist!!!They forget to mention EVERYONE hireing for this postion MUST HAVE @the least 2years WORK EXPERIENCE!!!No one wants to hire a newbie to bill for their money
