Worst service department
- - Part unavailable; five-hour wait.
- - April 24: job too big; not ready.
- - Poor communication; multiple calls; car retrieved at 4:30 pm.
On Friday April19, 2019 I brought my Subaru 2017 Crosstrek to Westchester Subaru for service to repair the fan mechanics . After five hours I received a phone call informing me the part was not available and it would be available on Wednesday, April24, 2019. On Wednesday April24,2019 at 9:45 am I returned with the car and was told it would be ready in a few hours. I received a call at 4:30 pm informing me that the “job was too big” and the car was not ready. It would be ready by 12 noon on Thursday, April 25th. I told the service department that I would need pickup or delivery of the car as I didn’t have transportation to get to the service department. I was told they would send someone to pick me up or deliver the car to me. At 1pm I called again and was told they didn’t have the valet service and the car would be delivered “around 3 pm”. 3pm no car
No call. Called again, and was told they were unable to deliver the car - and would send an Uber car! I asked for a supervisor and was told he was not in. I was finally able to get transportation to pick up my car which was at 4:30pm.
The lack of communication between customer and your service department is inadequate to say the least. I called at least 5 times to get this resolved and was without my car for
