West Asset management

(888) 433-**** - This number belongs to West Asset Management. I've got a call from them, they were asking me about my credit card dues. I think they are Collection Agent. One of my friend has referred me debtcc site to get more information on them. here is the page:

http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/collection-agencies/westassetmgmt.html

As per the information, in few other cases they try to harass people by calling up. During the call they don't want to disclose about themselves. I felt very irritating and wanted to share with you all. Hope this information will help you guys :)

Hmmmm... West Asset Management... WEST ASSET MANAGEMENT!!!

Just a few buzzwords to get this thing going... They are a collections agency in the business of ... well if you guessed... COLLECTIONS, then you guessed right!!!

If you owe money to them for an account that.... you owe money for, then you owe.

If you received ER services at a CEP America hospital between 12/03/2003 & 07/31/2008, then please visit www.cepsettlement.com.

If you still owe, then you might try to negotiate a settlement offer to them, but if you do that, MAKE THEM agree to removing any and all derogatory remarks from your credit reports... As the above comments say, you MUST do everything in writing by certified return receipt mail!!!

Be careful when recording telephone conversations because that is illegal in some states. 8)

West Asset Management is a very unethical and aggressive collection agency. Their address is:

2 Ravina Drive #1750

Atlanta, Georgia 30308.

They have a second address at:

2253 Northwest Parkway SE

Marietta, GA 30067-****.

Send them a letter by certified mail demanding that they cease and desist from any further communications with you, and according to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, they must stop calling you, or you can file a lawsuit against them for $1000 statutory damages plust costs and sometimes punitive damages. Get a tape recorder and a phone with a speakerphone and then record their telephone calls after they receive your letter. Each time they call ask them who they are. Then say the date and time and tell them you are recording their telephone calls. Then you can use this evidence in court against them. I plan on suing them and getting some money out of it, and I think it will be fun.
