AI Highlights
  • Job advertised at $15/hr for remote work.
  • Requires 20+ hours of training and exams.
  • No contact for help and no feedback on exam results.

This is to warn anyone who wants to be a Quality Rater for Welocalize. They advertise the job as $15/hr to work from home.

They don't tell you that you have to spend 20+ hours before you even get the job on training, assessments, and exams. There is no one for you to get in touch with for help. They set applicants up for failure. The exams come in the end and they don't tell you why you pass or fail.

They do not have the answers to the exam content. The entire experience is a joke and is harmful to people who are willing to work hard for part-time work. Do not waste your time with this role with this company.

If you are someone that needs a part-time hustle, this is not it. Don't be fooled.

Loss:
$375

Preferred solution: See that they change their practices or quit hiring for Quality Raters.

User's recommendation: Don't apply for Quality Rater positions with this company.
