Rip Off Company

This Company breaks all laws and when you try to contact them you can't get through. They illegally took my husbands business truck, never sent a notice of default nor did they get permission to take the car from our property. All my husbands equipment is on this truck and they send a letter stating that when it goes to auction only then can he claim his stuff. I have contacted the AG of Mass and an Attorney who have said they have broken 3 laws in Massachusetts, they have told me to try and talk to them and tell them that they need to reinstate the loan and return the vehicle. I think I am going to end up suing them. Massachusetts Laws are very Clear and when I spoke to the A.G.'s Office she stated they are getting very Tired of this Company thinking they are above the law. I have been trying to reach them on several different numbers, can't find a contact for the Office of the President they are such snakes they don't publicize that info. Their phones are all messed up but now I am paying for each day the truck is being held...bull!!!

Oh yes, another deadbeat legal expert You can't even make car payments on time yet you claim to have money for an attorney! What a joke!

If you don't want their BILL COLLECTORS calling you, then pay your bills on time! If you don't want a repo, then pay your bills on time. That's as obvious as the rising sun!

They aren't THAT stupid to give you advance warning of a repo so you could hide the truck! Since you probably won't put together any intelligent rebuttal, now's the time to write back, "You must work for them!"

Wells Fargo Lost My Car Title after I paid my loan off early

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a vehicle and used Wells Fargo Dealer Services. I will NEVER EVER USE WELLS FARGO DEALER SERVICE AGAIN.

I paid off loan in Oct. 2018 in full.

Wells Fargo had admitted they lost my vehicle title in the mail from Delaware DMV. Once my loan was paid off I went to Delaware DMV to inquire on my Title. I was informed that Wells Fargo should have mailed out to me the title clear and released with no lean.

Wells Fargo just mailed me a lean release letter and no title. I was on my own to purchase my title which makes no sense when title was lost in transit from DE DMV and Wells Fargo Bank. I filed a complaint with the bank's office of The President which was not handled properly. The person who was suppose to resolve it did nothing.

I contacted the bank 30 days later on Nov. 21, 2018 to inquiry on case and title. I was advised that a check was sent out to the State of PA Transportation, which I don't know why I like in DE and car is registered in DE. I was told that it was going to be stopped and a check will be mailed out to me.

8 days passed and I received nothing nor a phone call from Wells Fargo. I contacted manager and reported again my issue. I was informed that my case was re assigned to another because the first person dropped the ball. I contacted the new person working on the case the very next day and advised that they do not have any information or updates.

I explained to the agent that the bank has spelled my Name incorrectly on all document of the loan from day one and I advised the loan department and they had no concerns. The agent said they would look into it and contact me before Dec. 3, 2018 with a resolution. I advised them to just send me a check in my correct name for the title and it would be corrected and I would go to DE DMV to get title.

Agent said I will contact you when I get a check sent to you overnight.

The very next day I received a check written out to PA Department of Transportation. Wells Fargo is very incompetent and has failed several times to resolve an issue of my name spelled incorrectly and not providing me with a title.

Ridiculous business practices

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
In April 2018 I purchased a 2016 Dodge Caravan from a car dealership with a loan from Wells Fargo Dealer Services. In August 2018 I considered selling the vehicle and entered into a settlement with Wells Fargo Dealer Services; that after selling them the unused portion of my extended warranty (approx. $2400), which I did in September 2018…the debt would be approximately $16,400. The same car dealership was willing to buy back the vehicle at $13,000 and I made up a bank check for the difference in price so that they would send Wells Fargo the total of $16,400 that was owed, as per the settlement. But when Wells Fargo faxed the bill to the car dealership, they faxed them the amount of approx. $18,800, not the settlement amount. I made about two dozen phone calls to Wells Fargo, spoke to about seven different representatives, all were in agreement that the settlement amount was correct, but they continually faxed the higher amount to the car dealership. Finally, a representative stated that the higher amount would have to be paid and the car dealership would be reimbursed for the difference. This of course was unacceptable to the car dealership. I explained to numerous Wells Fargo Dealer Services representatives that I needed to sell the vehicle because in a few days I would leave the country, but they insisted this was the only way. On September 29, 2018, as a last attempt to pay Wells Fargo Dealer Services, I visited a local Wells Fargo Bank and spoke to the bank manager (who I understand was not connected to the sub division), and related my situation. The bank manager was nice enough to make a telephone call to Wells Fargo Dealer Services and spoke to a manager. After a frustrating hour and a half, the bank manager lost patience and turned the telephone over to me. I made it clear that I wanted to pay the settlement amount of $16,400, but after October 1, 2018 the vehicle would be left at my daughter-in-law´s drive way. I explained that this is not a good option for either Wells Fargo Dealer Services or for me. The Wells Fargo Dealer Services manager did not seem to care either way. I notified Wells Fargo Dealer Services numerous times thereafter where the vehicle would be parked so that it may be returned. On November 8, 2018 the vehicle was picked up. Now my credit rating has dropped and I am considered a bad debt. I do not understand how Wells Fargo Dealer Services can remain in business with such practices and poor customer service.

I have been trying to register my car and waiting for the lien information to be sent to the DMV. WFDS is telling me the state of Ga is the slow down but they’ve held my lien for two years already. Why wasn’t this handled a long time ago? Now I am stuck w temporary tags and how long do I need to pay for a car that no one knows or can tell me anything about the legitimacy of my title?

Let me guess...you've made so many late payments you caused late fees to pile up as well as extra interest. You caused these things and in very typical sorry deadbeat fashion it's all their fault and you're stomping your feet throwing a temper tantrum because YOU just can't stand the consequences YOU brought upon YOURSELF.

I hate this bank!

I have called several times to have my due date changed to the 18th of the month, was told I would receive a form in the mail, Never received! We sent them a letter with this request which we both signed. Still this has not been done! We bought the truck in August, to this date we still have had no correspondence from this bank. I will try to refinance somewhere else.

Who is this angry person making comments on everyone’s post. What an angry bitter loser you are...

Another DEADBEAT trying to play "Lets Change The Due Date" game! Its a page right out of the "Deadbeat's Handbook".

I guess the next temper tantrum will be when you discover all the extra interest YOU generate when YOU continue to be late! Of course, it will all be their fault, right? You sorry deadbeats just can't comprehend paying on time is NOT optional!

Oh but they are so, so cruel and are a predatory lender (because they hold you to the promise you made to pay on time)! Funny!

Worst bank ever, scammers

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought a Honda CRV 2016 that year, I was making my payments and then after 1 year and half I started to have some problems yet making payments, I got to a point where I couldn’t make a full payment but still sent some money usually like 100 dollars less than my monthly payments, so that money never reflected in my account and they told me that my car was in for repo. Then they sent me a letter stating that I most pay full amount of the car or the car was going g to be repo. So I handle them the car since they refuse to help me by letting me pay the “passed due amount” only option was to pay car in full, they ever wanted to help me refinance, after I gave them the car back they mail a letter saying if I want the car back I can pay the passed due amount and keep paying the car monthly, but I already had another car since I work for a dealership, I am a car salesman. This bank is up to something bad. First scamming people with houses now with cars. This bank most close all branches. This are delincuentes hurting families out there. Running credits and bank accounts, this is not normal, I will be taking them to court I have all my letters and calls recorded. This is the worst bank ever, at my job we don’t use them anymore with any customers. That behavior is disgusting and we are against scamming people

What a bunch of BS! Deadbeats ruin their own credit!

These lenders are NOT your mother. They are under no obligation to "help you" which in the deadbeat's mind means "let me get away without paying"! Yes sir...it's the standard deadbeat whine and stomping of the feet like a little child!

Bring these consequences upon yourself by NOT doing what YOU agreed to do but it's all their fault, isn't it? You sorry deadbeats make decent people want to throw up!!!

Charging off an account the day after making a Payment plan

My husband and I are in the process of buying a new home, made offer on the house and everything. We had an auto through WF, the truck was totaled a total loss in Feb of 2017, the truck had full coverage and GAP insurances. We were told the truck was paid off. But on our credit it shows we owe 16k on the truck and that we are still making 576.00 payments even though there is no truck to pay for, because it is paid off. I call WF to figure this out, they say I owe 1,700 for something, honestly I am not even sure for, never really got a straight answer as to why. So, anyway I agreed to pay the 1,700 so I could get my debt to income ratio corrected for my mortgage company, so I set up a payment arrangement to pay off the remaining balance. All is good and great, sign the offer on my new home, I call WF and they tell me my account is closed and charged off and they won't take my money, they closed it the day after I set up my payment arrangement, and just destroyed my husband's credit and just quite potentially cost us our dream home. Nobody was willing to work with me, finally I got the number to WF Office of the President, I am hoping this can be rectified in a timely manner, I am holding out hope. I was more than willing to pay them the money I didn't even know about, to fix the husband's credit report and so we could buy our new home. In the time between the truck being a total loss and to this point I received no correspondence from WF, about the remaining balance. I really hope they can fix this so I can still get my home. This company and their ways are destroying Cry the dreams of a Disabled Veteran and his family. Sad

I'm building at home and Florida after retiring from Illinois and contacted Wells Fargo to try to get copy of title fax to Court House so I would be able to get Florida license plates. I have been waiting for two weeks now and no fax after calling everyday and even spoke to supervisors. I have learned a lot in this process and people do have bad experiences with some businesses but I have learned never to conduct business with Wells Fargo again. I just have a vehicle parked in the yard with no tag. Wife and I have to share one vehicle between us. May I mention every representative I had a chance to speak to tell you something different

Poor reporting on my credit

The company does not take responsibility for their screw up. Poor excuses and sorry management, specially having to deal with the office of the president. I am not happy and I am pissed I even tried to get them to refi an application. I will never recommend them or do business, ever, with them. Little by little wellsfargo and their extension are loosing business. Well deserved. Now my credit report is fixed but it has been a torture to go through this with them. It is best that it didn't work out, truly would have only had to deal with more running around and BS.

I hear you there. I regret ever having to finance my vehicle with them.

They are lousy in all aspects. I don't have anything good to say about them. Wells Fargo is actually one of our clients at the company I work for, seems like they employ a lot of *** in the company regardless of what department it is. Talk about having to call them and be put on hold for 20 minutes then get back to talk to you for 5 minutes then put you on hold for another 20 minutes.

I totally agree on them not taking full responsibility. I will never finance with them ever again. I'll just go through my bank next time which I should have done in the first place.

Wells Fargo made a name for themselves...taking money from you (i.e. the news about them taking money from their customers without their knowledge)

NEVER Work With WFDS

Husband and I bought a 2010 Ford Escape in 2012 all payments were made on time until August of 2017 of which I called them asked if I could make an interest Payment and they said I could and I paid the amount requested. Then September came up, we found our self in a financial crunch.

I called them to let them know what we going thru, they asked if I could make payment of 395.00 which was less than the 447.52 payment we had made until we got in our financial crunch. I told them that would try but could not promise. At that point, they threatened to REPO the car. I asked they could hold on for a few more months as my husband was applying for a State Job, (and buy he got the job) and it would take at least a month before we would see his first check.

He Started his part-time job with the State on the 13th of November. The first payday in December was the first Friday of the month. I called them to let them know that we were able to make payments and I would send them a payment on the 18th of the month which was when our regular payments were made. At that point, they asked me for 1447.52.

I told them that I could make the 447.52 but would have to be creative on the $1000.00. So I went to a friend of 30 years and asked if she could help and she did. I called WFDS to let them know that I had all the money they asked for. At that point they were asking for $2000.00, the monthly payment and all late charges, they said no.

So asked if our account could be reviewed and could we refi the loan for the remaining balance of the loan(car was to due to being paid in full in April 2018). They told me to call back the next day. In the meantime at 4 am the next day they came and had the car repoed the car. My husband went to go to work later that morning, the car was gone.

I called them and said that they didn't even give us a warning about taking the car nor had they sent a letter or called to let us know. I then went on to tell them that I have been in constant contact with you since August about this. They told that there no notes in our file that indicated that we even called them. Then I said how could you be so cruel to take away our one and only car for my husband to go to work in and to take a handicapped person's car with the placard in the windshield and my wheelchair in the back.

At this point, I demanded that they tell me where my car was and that I want it back. I have a $1000.00 plus Dec payment, this time they were asking for the pay off amount of $4666. 17. I said, lady, if I had the payoff amount you would have had it by now and you people are not trying hard enough to help us out, besides how can we pay you if we don't have a car for my husband to go to work so that we can pay you.

Their reply was, that's not our problem and you being handicapped is also not our problem. So I replied with a few choice word and hung up, but not till I got them to tell me where my car was. I called the place where my car was, but they were closed for the weekend. I called the Repo company on Monday and asked if my car was there, they asked for the vin# on my car, my reply was the Vin# is on my registration in the glove box but I can give you my name address and the license plate# for the car, nope we need the vin#, I replied thanks for all your help, NOT and hung up.

It occurred to me that the vin# would be on my insurance papers and it was, so I called them back gave them the vin#. They had my car, I told them not to touch the car or take the plates off until I could settle this with WFDS. Called WFDS and asked them to work with us and asked how could they be so heartless and cruel to do this to a handicapped person. They said they were were going to report to the credit bureaus and ruin our credit, I replied so whats new you have already ruined it by not working with us and hung up.

I called the repo company said that we would be down the next day to recover personal belongings in the car(we borrowed my sister in laws car). When we finally saw the car it had a cracked windshield, two good chips on the car, 2 tires that were all worn on the inside of the tire and our GPS was missing and my hand's free device for our cell phones and my wheelchair. I was livid. The tires were practically new.

We on the waiting list to have the tires rotated and have the car realigned. Get this $800 plus in tires the car had gone 27K since the car got the tires in June of 2014. Well, the car went to Auction today Jan 2, 2018, and I have received a letter saying that they wanted over $5000.00 to get the car back and if they unable to get the price they want at wholesale to recover the costs that we would be billed for remaining amount. I'm ready for a fight because they are going to pay for a new wheelchair for me(wheelchairs cost over 6,000), our GPS, hands-free device for cell phones, if not then they will be dealing with our lawyer.

Based on all the dealings that other people have gone thru I think we have a good case!

Since then we have gone to a second-hand dealership and managed to refi an older car. One thing I always have done in life is to tell the truth about things.

Cutting they all your words attempting to paint yourself as a victim, you failed to make payments on time and you had no income with which to make payments. They are NOT your charity and YOU defaulted.

They did a repo because YOU were late and YOU had no ability to pay...period...end of story!

No need to stomp your feet and attempt to discredit them. You very clearly caused a repo and don't bother...I'll save you the effort...I don't work for them!

Royally Messed up my Credit!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I could give zero stars, I really would! Had my auto financed through wells fargo dealer and was involved in an accident in 2016. This accident totaled my car. Upon calling they advised me to make my monthly payment as usual, unfortunately with no car to drive I was unable to. However a month and a half later my insurance paid out and a month after that my GAP coverage paid. I figured at this point I would receive some form of communication to advise me of my balance and I could take care of that before hitting my credit, ya know, since my insurance just paid you close to 10K! No notifications, no emails, no phone calls, until Nov 2017 when the collections person called to inform me of my LOW balance. I asked how long I would have before it hits my credit and he said it already reported! WHAT!?!? So, needless to say my credit score went down by 100 points. Once I calmed myself, I called back only to find out that they have sent notices to a wrong address! I advised them that I was under the impression that when I called in to get auto financing prices for my new car that the service rep was able to update that information. Well, that wasn't the case, and now they are unwilling to work with me at all on the fact that they pretty my destroyed my good credit! Needless to say, I will never get a loan through them again. This company has the most ridiculous customer service I have ever seen. I have since closed all of my banking accounts and moved to CHASE Bank! So Far Chase has treated me very well!
