Access denied to cleared funds

AI Highlights
  • Avoid Tarzana Wells Fargo branch.
  • Cashier's check cleared, but funds weren't released.
  • Manager was dismissive; complaints filed.

Tarzana branch

Avoid this branch.

Ive been a Wells Fargo customer for over 15 years with a spotless recordno bounced checks, no fraud, no issuesand this is by far the worst banking experience Ive ever had.

I deposited a cashiers check from a long-time, reputable client. At the branch, I was kept waiting for over 30 minutes only to be told the check might not be valid, with no real explanation.

I then deposited it via mobilefunds became available immediately.

I tried to withdraw $600 (money that was already in my account before the deposit) and was refused.

The next day, the check fully cleared.

Days later, with over $12,000 in my account, I returned to withdraw my moneyand was STILL denied. The explanation? There could still be an issue with the check.

This is after it had already cleared.

It gets worse.

I spoke directly with the branch manager, who was dismissive and unprofessional, and continued to insist the check was no good despite it clearing days earlier. She ultimately told me that I would not be able to access my money at her branch.

Let that sink in: a bank refusing to release your own cleared funds, with no consistent explanation.

This is not just poor customer serviceits unacceptable and disruptive, especially if you run a business and rely on access to your funds.

Ive filed formal complaints and am escalating the matter.

If you value access to your own money, do yourself a favor and bank elsewhere.

User's recommendation: Stay away from this branch

Event Staff Complaint

AI Highlights
  • Ticketed for Section 110, Seats 3-4, but we were placed in Section 109, Seats 3-4.
  • Two people claimed our seats; staff said mistakes happen.
Contains 2 confidential files for company representatives

My wife and I attended the Usher concert tonight and had tickets for Section 110, Seats 3 and 4. However, the staff member mistakenly placed us in Section 109, Seats 3 and 4.

Three quarters into the concert, we were approached by two people who said we were in their seats and were asked to leave.

This was embarrassing, especially since we were told by your staff that we were in the right place.

When we complained to the event staff, they simply said, "mistakes happen." The seats we paid for in Section 110 were much better, and we didnt get the opportunity to experience the show from there. This error ruined our experience at the venue.

User's recommendation: Do trust the event staff to do their job. Always ask the person next to you their row, seat, and section.

Dear Bank's Customer Service/Dispute Resolution Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to request a review of certain charges on my account. Recently, I reported fraudulent activity that affected my account.

However, I was informed by your team that the transactions in question were from a past date and were determined to be unrelated to any of my legitimate transactions.
Given this situation, I would like to ask for a detailed review of these charges to ensure that they have been correctly attributed to my account.

If possible, I would also appreciate a breakdown or explanation of how the determination was made that these transactions were not related to the reported fraud.
Please let me know if any additional information is needed from my side to facilitate this review. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards.
