Unprofessionalism, lack of safety for tenants, lack of communication, and lack of maintenance when asked to fix something.
Wellington Advisors, in my personal opinion, has been unprofessional since they became new owners. Unprofessional Because they are not personable and they aren't knowledgeable regarding tenants leases.
I inquired about non-renewal of my lease and was told it was because I had not signed one in 4 years. I had my signed lease in hand from July , the prior year. I was met with attitude and rudeness. I was then told that it was because I was receiving section 8 vouchers and they no longer accepted tenants on section 8 although my daughter and I have been good tenants for 6 years.
Everything I brought up was dismissed and the office staff had no idea who the lady from regional's name was although she'd been with this company for 3 years.
Since that time, I had something that was wrong with my apartment that potentially could have caused damage to another apartment but after calling the after-hours number was told at first that it would be handled on the following Monday and then the guy said he would come check it out in 15 minutes however, he never arrived. No one came Monday or any day for that matter.
They are renovating apartments and leaving major appliances out for days at a time including refrigerators that should be locked so children can't get hurt. Cabinets, carpet, storm doors, water heaters all left overnight instead of stored properly so it poses a risk to tenants should they fall or something happen. They have left concrete pieces in the middle of the parking lot for hours so it's not possible to avoid going over with a car.
The dumpster has been left full for several days. They turned off the water for awhile one day without notice.
I've called them once and left a voicemail regarding my concerns. I've also left 3 email messages and no response.
Many people they have made leave are now homeless and while business may be business, they are lacking in interpersonal skills based on my encounters and manners. The guys working for them are rude and one guy I asked to move and make a walkway to get into an apartment said no at first and finally after awhile slowly started removing trash to the side.
This same day, I couldn't hardly get upstairs because the appliances had me blocked.
The website for Arlington west apartments and pecan grove is misleading. They are charging unbelievable prices for less than 80 square feet. On the webpage, they list decks, patios as an amenity and my deck as well as others are missing pieces and loose. I guarantee they would not pass inspection.
I don't allow my daughter to walk on the deck and it's clear many are missing parts to the railings, not just mine. Perhaps, this company should be more personable and less money-oriented.
Perhaps communicating with tenants in a pleasant manner and training staff would be more beneficial to them. I don't have anymore room to show the photos of the deck.

Unprofessional company
This company took over my apartment complex in April 2022 and begin sending letters to evict section 8 tenants within 30 days, the maintenance guy vapes all day long and does not finish the job as I have had several requests and all have been butchered. Trash is everywhere and you never know who will be in the office.
Completely unorganized and these people are only about money. They should not be allowed to manage any property and they continue to get poor reviews!

Wellington Advisors LLC took over my apartments back in Dec 2021 and it's been going down hill ever since. From trash everywhere, to nnnnooooo one ever in the office or returning calls or emails and if they do they call you back from a block number cause your irrate due to them not replying!
They also leave letters in your mailbox for none payment of rent yet no one's there to accept and GIVE YOU A RECEIPT, like who really leaves money in a Dropbox and you CAN'T GET A RECEIPT STATING YOU PAID but will leave a late notice in your mailbox with an ABSURD LATE FEE AMOUNT! The fee is 5% of your RENT and they add on whatever fees they feel HOPING YOU PAY! Haven't signed a LEASE yet but they want money each month! I requested a PAPER LEASE cause it's up to the tenant to state so and I have yet nnnnooooo lease!
2 months in with SUPPOSEDLY NEW LEASING AGREEMENTS YET DON'T HAVE ONE! Do yourself a favor from the HEADACHE, AGGRAVATION, FRUSTRATING mismanaged company!
GOOGLE THE EMBEZZLEMENT AND TENANT LAWSUIT FROM THIS COMPANY (WELLINGTON ADVISORS OR WELLINGTON ADVISORS LLC) DO NOT RENT FROM THEM THEY ARE TRULY PRIDEFUL ON GREED, MISINFORM MANAGERS AT COMPLEXES AND POOR MANAGEMENT SERVICES AS A WHOLE! RUN FOR THE HIGHEST HILLS AWAY FROM THEM!
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution

I am a military widow and a disabled Veteran. I am also on a fixed income.
I am planning on taking this issue as far as I can take it, including alerting others so that this does not happen to anyone else. I am contacting the media as this is a military town and I am sure they would want to know how one of their own is being treated. Since I am unable to get someone higher than Travis Booner and Brenda Leidholdt has been firm that I should bear the burden, I am trying this one last time to reach someone. "Tito" the maintenance man in question has been fired.
Not without though my having to pay an astronomical bill due to his not repairing the toilet in my apartment. He was called July 26th. He replaced a gasket. The toilet still made noise, the toilet was expending 1000 gallons of water per hour and did so until August 28th, when Jim Hawkins, the temporary maintenance man replaced parts of the toilet including the flapper valve.
( I have copies of maintenance work orders from the first time I reported the problem on July 26th, when reported and August 28th when it was fixed. PWC left a door alert on my front door July 27th, which means had the repair been done, I would not now be responsible for a PWC bill of $624. 58 and climbing as next months bill will also be high. Formally my highest bill was $26.58.
As I enjoy living at Church Street Apartments, but I did what I was supposed to do as a tenant, and do not feel I am responsible for the high PWC bill, I am going to take every measure to alert the community of Ms. Brenda Leidholdt position. She has yet to tell me beyond alerting management, which I did why should I be responsible. Check YELP.com You will find reviews were done when I initially moved in as to the condition, dog *** on the ground, cigarette butts not removed from the flower pots outside.
So, since I am on a fixed income, and I am being held responsible for this definite injustice in this debt, I am compelled to find out whether this situation is normal.
I would rather speak to someone other than Travis Booner or Brenda Leidholdt since contacting them has not resulted in any satisfactory response. Thank you

Wellington Advisors have allowed unsafe and unsanitary conditions for tenants for 3 months in attempt to “renovate” apartments. The funny thing is even after they kicked out all the section 8 tenants and still telling others to leave that have not filled these apartments yet. Something is super fishy!
