Closed Account Bank Employee acting like a child.

Ok we start banking here which I was never impressed from the jump they were rude and left us waiting for over an hour we were the only ones in there at the time. Fast forward we open a personal account at first later on they refuse our check that is made out to the business so we open another account for business we signed a contract and then 5 months later I have a charge on my account that is 10 times what I agreed to pay so I do a stop payment.

Then the bank employee tells me I am going to have to be removed from the account. I asked why and she said bcuz you and him are not married so I told her we were common law married, we have bank accounts together, file taxes together, and she blew off what I said informing me that I would have a paper at the drive thru to sign and they would remove me. So I go to drive thru and we are there to pick up cards bcuz ours are all thrown into fraud by the bank both of the accounts and none of the cards work. So we called they said they will print them and have them ready we'll we waited 30 minutes plus in drive thru and they come back with they were notified by the Welch location to remove me immediately or close out the account.

I had contacted the Welch location and they knew nothing about what I was talking about. They said they would check into It and get back to me. I told the girl at Miami location that I wasn't signing anything until I received the information from the main branch. She got snappy said I wasn't married I was being removed or she was closing the account right then.

I was shocked that after 5 months and us going there more then once a week that she would not give me a better reason so I grabbed the contract and said I never read where it stated that joint owners of a business account must be married and told her how they spoke of more then 2 owners of joint business accounts in the contract and asked if they to had to be married all 3 of them, and asked her to tell me what page I would find it on about being married. She told me that I didn't have a copy of that page. Oh snap! I refused to sign she had me sign the stop payment for the business account that she removed me from due to not being married and her withholding parts of my contract., these are the bank employees words.

Are you kidding me. I hope you know what you are doing, bcuz I do. I know you just broke the law. We leave of course it starts a huge fight bcuz he can't go saying too much to anyone at this bank they will be quick to tell his family that bank there and then it becomes a bigger problem.

I called Welch location and told them I had an account with them and I would like to be informed on the policy that joint business accounts are for married people only they at first said no then tried to tell me it was a law in the state of Oklahoma. I said what about common law bcuz the state recognizes that does your bank. She tried to tell me they couldn't. I told her then I have looked the laws up and I knew she was lying Oklahoma does not require joint business account owners to be married.

And the common law was at the discretion of the bank she came back with she don't know so I asked a couple more questions about the policy and hung up. I go to upload a check in our personal account and I can't. When the girl at bank took me off account she also deleted my online banking including his. We had no access so I get that back and she had blocked several things to were we could only view balances.

So I messaged the bank and demanded to know why all this is being messed with the personal account was never questioned nor should there be any reason to mess with it. The lady from bank calls she asked for him I told her if this about the message I sent it and I was also an equal owner of the personal account and I would be the one she spoke with she refused kept asking for him. I told her no and hung up. She then closed the business account out.

I couldn't believe that this bank would allow such unprofessional behavior from this employee. I was inquiring on my personal account not the business account. So I of course had enough way before this and we had already opened another account and they are friendly. So when I finally decided to go view the message how she closed the account right after I hung up on her I simply thanked her and later asked her to go ahead and close out all accounts we found a more suitable bank to fit our needs.

I'm for sure checking into if she was within her or bank's rights to take me off account for reasons she said.

I believe it's a big no no to with hold parts of a contract and I am positive I have a right to see the terms and conditions and agree to them before I sign anything. They should know the laws before allowing an employee to run her mouth to people you never know who those people really are or what they may have stored in their memory bank and I update my memory bank.

I have been banking with this bank for several years it is a family thing and not on my side, I think the bank is more then less then when it comes to depending on a financial institution. My receipts show the real transaction date while the date the bank shows is the processed date.

I don't care when the bank and merchant finally settled up what I care about is I depended on my bank to show my transaction date so not only could I prove something happened on such and such date but it is like my second proof of insurance. Then comes the overdraft fees which we are opted out of no money no transactions. Wrong they approve the ACH to the IRS none the less. Then once they send money to them they take it back and bam they charge me a huge fee for them totally *** off the one person I would have paid them double to pay and let them keep the money.

Instead I get hit with letters from IRS and then bank informs me even though they did not pay it they are charging me for it and they charge per ever how many times the automated system tries to collect it which is *** I should be paying once I suppose after all you label the fee over draft fee and I opted out of that and was never made aware there would be any exceptions to that.

That's not enough though you then charge me a continuance fee. That's not even the best part today I am on the phone with them and they inform me the business account that my boyfriend and I have together as co-owners and we have had this account for several months because our own bank would not cash a check because it had our company name on the check so we open the account now they tell me I am being removed from the account now hold up who the *** are you to decide who owns that account because I do believe the company itself is the owner and I am 51% shareholder now who are you removing I am seriously trying to convince my boyfriend that it's nothing I want in a bank and maybe I am a little spoiled to having the correct dates my day balanced but if he would just change to a good bank he to would become spoiled.
