Paid for an item, never received, then an email from webcortex
- - Ebike order never arrived and was canceled as out of stock.
- - Prices rose by hundreds and purchases weren’t honored; insider trading is cited.
Did not go anywhere, they won't honor my purchase made that was paid for long ago. Now, the item is still for sale at double the price.
The next day they cancelled my order stating it was 'out of stock' or else they 'Can't meet delivery date'. I ordered again, letting them know not to cancel just because they cannot meet the delivery date.
After a week they canceled that order too.
This was all because they were going to raise the price a few hundred dollars and did not want to honor my purchase.
They raised the price a few hundred dollars, added my bike back to the total in stock (was 11 after I ordered, now shows 12).
Webcortex should have honored my order, should not have canceled it just because of Insider Trading, knowing the price was going to go up.
I bet if I was to order at the higher price, it would show up. I will not.
Preferred solution: I just want people to know that this place was dishonest and used insider information to cancel my order because they were going to raise their prices.
