Waited two years for parts
Ordered replacement parts for a tomato strainer. For two years, the company repeatedly told me they could get the parts for the strainer they sell.
After two years, they told me I would have to wait another 14 months. This company buys up companies who make iconic products and then cut costs and quality until they have destroyed the brand.
They have hundreds of BBB complaints for similar actions. I am still waiting for my refund.

Product/customer service dissatisfaction
I bought an automatic lock for my double vinyl fence, because my original lock took too much force to close and this one from web direct stated it closed with minimal force. I received and installed it.
It seemed to work for a few days, but as I was leaving, I noticed that when I opened the gate, it stuck for a moment and then ripped the pin portion of the lock away from the gate. Although I was upset, I installed the pin again, thinking it was a fluke. A couple days after that, it happened again. This time it ripped the pin portion not completely away from the gate.
I could see that the pin had bound in the lock, which prevented it from opening. I called web direct and they stated to send pictures to their email address provided. I did, and after a few days of not hearing anything, I called back. They put me in contact with their rep Anthony.
He said he didn't see any emails from me. He asked me what happened and after I explained, he started stating things like "sounds like it needs aluminum inside of the vinyl gate" or "do you have something on your driveway to stop the fence"? I can't imagine having something sticking up from the middle of my driveway to provide a "stop" for my gate. Sounds dangerous to me.
I explained that it was their lock that bound twice, which damaged my fence. He said to send him pictures, so I did. A few days afterwards, I hadn't heard anything, so I called. After he called me back, he sounded very un-interested with talking about it.
He started saying "if you had aluminum on each side of the vinyl fence that the lock could mount to, we wouldn't be having this conversation". I was done with him at this point as it seemed like just excuses as to why it happened. I stated it wouldn't make a difference as if it hadn't been ripped out of the fence, it would have bound and damaged something else on the gate. He said they would send me a return authorization.
I'm not looking for compensation for my damaged fence, but not once did I hear a simple apology when dealing with these people.
They definitely try and treat people with complaints very rudely. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.anyone.stay away sta

Verified Reviewer | Martinsburg, West VirginiaOrdered Squeez-O products
I ordered parts for a Squeez-O back in January, with a 12-week delivery promised on the website. A representative emailed me and was friendly and assured me she would make sure everything went smoothly.
Then word came that the items would not be available until June. No explanation, no apology. The rep assured me a couple of weeks ago that the end of June was still the delivery time.
Now suddenly it's September, with a miserable form letter with no one listed as a contact. Another Chinese company, hating Americans?

Taken for $980
Feb. 2019
We purchased a LiftMaster / Chamberlain LA-412-D Dual Swing Solar Gate Opener w/ 10w Solar Panel from Gatecrafters.
Gatecrafters.com and WebDirectBrands recommended the Chamberlain LA-412 we purchased for our application.
The product was defective.
We attempted countless times to contact via phone and email for a resolution
There was not Tech Support as advertised on the website and emailed-thus the product was returned within the 30 days requested.
We were charged over $900 for a restocking fee on a defective product that cannot be resold.
Ultimately, we believe we were swindled out of $980.

Chinese Junk and not the Floating Kind
Bought a belt driven gate opener for around $500. Worked for a short while then got damaged in a hail storm.
Took a long time (and a big fight) to get a new cover and circuit board out of them, had to pay because of course "hail damage is not covered under warranty". The first circuit board they sent me got wet because the shipper threw it over my gate when I was on vacation and it lay in my driveway for a week. I sent it back and the company pretended they did not get it. I had the mail tracking info so that put an end to that trick.
The second one was the wrong board. I sent that back as well. After living without a working gate for months, they finally produced the correct circuit board and it worked ... for a while.
After a month or so, it just stopped working for no good reason. These are $200 boards so this was starting to get old. And then, the icing on the cake was them telling me they no longer stocked this circuit board and I would have to buy an entirely new gate operator for another $500. And it doesn't end there.
When I wrote a review on "Trust Pilot", the company got it taken down because they said "Chinese Junk" was offensive. So I rewrote it. Then they had it taken down again because they said I wasn't a real customer. I sent "Trust Pilot" a scan of the actual invoice.
"Trust Pilot" said that did not suffice, they need a PDF of the invoice.
Well you can't create a PDF from a piece of paper so it seems "Trust Pilot" is really a fake review service. I suspect that most of the "Trust Pilot" glowing reviews were written by the company and I doubt "Trust Pilot" is as diligent verifying those.
- Product is unreliable and parts support is poor
Cheap cheap cheap
At first their sales department was great and very helpful, but without you knowing they sell you a very cheap product guaranteed to have issues and then will no longer help you. After doing some research there are a ton of people who have this issue with their products.
They sell cheap knock offs for high quality pricing. They would not let me refund the product and became very mean once I started having issues. Go look at other reviews about this company.
No one has been happy with them and I honestly don't know how they are still in business. I will never recommend this company or any of its sub companies.

Cheap Products at High Prices with No Return
I purchased an expensive gate system from Gate Crafters who is a subsidiary of Web Direct Brands. The product they sold me was an Estate Swing gate system which includes the motors, brackets and control board.
Estate Swing is a subsidiary company to Gate Crafters and Web Direct Brands. When talking to anyone at any of these three companies you are dealing and talking with Web Direct Brands. Now that this information is out there, they sold me a gate for top dollar compared to any other system on the market for my needs. They assured me that it would work perfect for my setup and shipped me the product.
Day one the control board had an issue, So I shipped it back for repair. Once I received it, I got everything hooked up, then the motor on the control arm stopped working. I shipped it back and they repaired it. Then the second motor (dual gate system) broke.
The casing of the motor cracked and the repaired one they sent back cracked as well. I talked to the company for weeks trying to get a refund for these low quality items. But they will not stand behind the products and have no interest in helping me. They have horrible customer service and very cheap products you would expect from a Chinese knockoff with a price you would expect from a high quality item.
The system did not work and now I’m stuck with an “expensive” gate system that is complete garbage.
Their staff is even worse than their products as 3 managers I was dealing with throughout this process had left the company. Web Direct Brands is a scam and I would never recommend them for anything.
