DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH WEAVER GAS!
Trying to get my propane tank removed. Customer service would not give me a time frame as to when they would come out.
Finally spoke to customer service supervisor Gina and she stated that they could not give me a time frame as to when they would be out to remove the tank. When asked why she said her department does not schedule the removal of tanks, that they are very busy and they would be out as soon as possible.
I will be filing a complaint with the Orange County NY Department of Consumer Affairs. This company is extremely unprofessional and I would advise people find another company to do business with.
Preferred solution: Give me a time frame as to when they will be out to remove the propane tank

You think is any chance to contact the owner of this company
Unreliable
We are a national company and were still double billed and treated poorly by the Ciprianah. She suspended our account after being called out for double billing us.
Aparently they do what they want with credit cards and checks!!! Do not put a credit card on file with them or you will find out why.
Would have to say, as someone who deals with many local businesses that this is by far the worst experience that I have had with a local business in many years. Seems like the staff there would rather win an argument and have a final word rather than correct a problem and keep a customer!!!
Shame on you Weaver Gas and whatever sorry company that actually owns this not so hot mess.
Poor customer service
After 4 phone calls and broken promises my 500 gallon propane tank is still not picked up . Rude local service with no corporate support and owes me over 500.00
The next letter will be from my attorney .
It almost cost me my house sale very poor customer service .
I made two phone calls to the local office in Newburgh and they were the worst no support .
I called their corporate office they were nice but no support with a resolution to my problem. I made a formal complaint with the Bibb and our local chamber and I will never give them a good reference
- No refund
- Poor customer service
Preferred solution: Full refund
No manager to speak with, Rude Customer service
I am send you this as a letter of complaint.
On Thursday March 19 arrived home at 4:30 pm, and found my house full of LP gas smell. I immediately opened all the windows to air it out. I discovered I had run out of cooking gas. There was not enough pressure in the tank, therefore allowing the pilots on the stove to go out. Subsequently the residual gas had siphoned into the house. How, could I run out of gas, I’m on automatic delivery, I asked myself. I immediately called Weaver, only to get an answering service. I was told if I wanted gas after hours I would have to pay a $200 service fee, before the driver would fil the tank. Why do I have to pay a fee when it’s Weaver’s fault I ran out of gas, on top of the fact I’ve been a customer for 20 years. I wasn’t going to pay the fee and decided to wait until Friday, the answering service schedule me a deliver for the next day. Friday morning I called Weaver and asked to speak with a manager. I was told by Cipriano there were no managers available. I asked that she contact a manger and have them call me. I was told no manager would return my call, and that she is the only person I could talk to. I explained the situation and told her should not have run out of gas because I had specifically requested we get a fill up every 4 months. She told me that my usage didn’t warrant a fill every 4 months and Weaver decided to spread out the fills. Well obviously my usage does require it, I ran out exactly 5 months after my last fill. She told me the only thing Weaver would do would be to put in an additional tank or a larger one. I explained to her I don’t have the room nor the desire to do that. She told me those were my only choices, because Weaver will not fill me every 4 months. I again I repeatedly requested to speak with a manger, again she refuse to contact a manager. She even suggested I not get my tank filled and seek another supplier. I told her get my tank filled I will be looking for another supplier. Cipriano is the most unprofessional customer service rep. I have ever dealt with. When I got home, she had left a message on my answering machine earlier in the day, asking if I had done something different to run out of gas, because I usually get a fill up every 4-months. From this message it is obviously she is a bold faced liar.
After this ordeal I will be looking for another LP supplier that can attend to my needs without giving me the run around and has some kind of after our service with being exorbitant and unreasonable fees.
Sincerely;
Richard Treadwell
Newburgh, NY.

Worst Company Ever
So, after reading all the other reviews. I have had many similar interactions with them.
They were actually recommended to us (some how) by a hearth company we used to install a propane fireplace. From square 1, I should have known this was going to be a nightmare. The original estimate was absolutely insane. They double billed us for work the propane fireplace company already had done.
But that wasn't before they came to deliver a 250 gal tank. And by deliver, I mean a single elderly man (not fair to him to be delivering full size propane tanks by himself) asking my wife for assistance. You can really see that we were off to a rocky start here. They *** high priced bills in whenever they can.
Rude office staff is an understatement. The makeshift pad that they used to deliver the tank on settled over time so I poured a concrete pad next to where it was and moved the tank to the more secure location. Bad move. This sparked some debate.
where the tank was located was on a hill. My neighbors house is close by at the bottom of the hill. I wasn't even upset that they wanted to retest all the lines and inspect the work I had done. I understand regulations.
However, they wanted to bill by the MINUTE! At an insane rate! So started the process of having them pick the tank up. Again, nightmare.
Months before we got refund money. Dozens of phone calls.
Needless to say, my last phone call was to the propane fireplace company insisting that they do not recommend Weaver ever again.
Review from New York, New York
The company has no refund policy in writing in office or on line .that is against the law ,all refunds must be able to be seen in writing as ex.on line ,contracts ,in office displayed on wall etc.so all customers waiting for refunds that r lenghty waits as per office workers stipulate of 8 to 10 weeks is ridiculas and u should sue them .and have ur lawyer also charge them or u add cost of court fees in when sueing them for ur rightful refund in a timely manner. And report to bbb .
Arrogant, threatening office clerks
In September I rented a wheelchair accessible house for my mother's needs. Weaver Gas was in place when we moved in.
The acct was put into my mother's name. My mother died in late December. On March 1st I became aware of a late bill for $2400. (For 2 months of propane in a house that we kept at 62 degrees because of the previous insanely high bills).
I called and spoke to Ciprianna who told me a worker was scheduled to disconnect my service that afternoon. I asked if I could make a partial payment at the moment and pay the remainder the following week. Ciprianna was rude to say the very least, told me there was no point in our conversation, and hung up on me. When I called back and asked if there was anyone else I could speak to she told me that she was the manager and there was no one else.
I raced the clock to move money around before the worker came to disconnect us and paid them the outstanding balance of $1515.44, with arrangements to pay the balance the following week. Ciprianna then told me the acct needed to be moved to my name immediately, with an additional $900 deposit. (There was already a $900 deposit on the acct.) When I told her I couldn't afford that at the moment she told me that my tank would be locked. It seemed that Ciprianna's approach to problem solving and customer service is to simply threaten to withold.
When I said I needed to pick up my children and would have to call her back, she said, "Oh so now you have to go somewhere???" The rudeness was really knee ***. When I did call back I spoke to Nichole who initiated an "application" in my ss number. I was told they would be in touch for the deposit. That all happened on Friday.
Yesterday, (Tuesday) I received a long rambling voice message from Nichole. She said since I had not called her back on Monday my tank would now be locked Wednesday. She talked about billing me by the minute for the time it would take the service guy to lock the tank, how I had now "lost" the initial deposit, and went on and on about all the additional charges I would have to pay in addition to the new deposit in order to have service restored. She sounded like a mean spirited little junior high girl getting off on the power to separate me from heating fuel.
I saved the message- if they weren't so out of control, and if it wasn't so freaking cold outside, this would really be a very funny message. I have another provider coming this afternoon to install a new tank and switch us over. I am sitting here wondering what will happen if the Weaver guy comes to lock their tank while the new provider is here.
Lots of high drama from the ladies at Weaver Gas! LOL Seriously, if I owned this company I would be very concerned about what seems to me to be an office culture of flat out rudeness.
Bad company
On Veterans day this combat veteran and his wife returned from a walk in the woods to find Weaver Gas trucks in the driveway and two thugs taking away my 500 gallon propane tank and within it the 300 gallons of propane which I had paid for at a highly inflated rate. I have never failed to pay my bills for propane delivery.
There was a dispute however over a charge for a second service call that had been sent out to repair a problem caused by an earlier service call. On that I had written three letters to Weaver Gas disputing the charge.... and never once received the courtesy of a response. Instead the company waited until a record cold snap was descending and decided to sneak unannounced into my yard to rob my family of heat, hot water and cooking gas.
A special gift for a veteran on Veteran's day. Those that pump the gas and drive the trucks for Weaver Gas are good folks...
it is the management that is of low character and questionable judgment. I would advise those looking for a propane supplier to steer clear of Weaver Gas.
Poor service, inflated prices, suspicious billing
If you enjoy rude service or no service, by all means sign up with Weaver Gas. Also, if they owe you money, you will never see it.
We changed propane providers because Weaver was so bad, even though we had a full tank of propane. Weaver picked up the full tank, agreed that it was full and that we should get a refund. It's 3 months, still no refund, but lots of nasty talk when we call to (politely) ask where our money is.
It's always "in process". We wish we had checked the web before we signed up with Weaver because there are complaints about Weaver everywhere and the company has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau.
Weaver Gas
We discontinue with Weaver Gas and when they came to pick up their propane tank, they also disconnect our regulator which attach to our house as well as the regulator attach to our generator without giving us notice so we can make arrangement for the other company to attach another regulator to our house and generator.
We were without gas to cook and without heat throughout the house until we contact the other gas company to find out what happen.
We find the Weaver Gas company should have some kind of regulation or law that inform us that they are disconnecting the regulator from our house and from our generator. They did not even apologize to us for our inconvenience.

Tank was picked up and now they are saying it will take months for a credit to me for the unused propane . Could take up to 3 months. Way longer than most companies ...!!
