WCB Construction

This is the scam: West Coast Builders 2 will sign you up for a home renovation, citing all their good reviews online (Yelp, Google Maps etc - these are all fake by the way/!). You sign a contract with them.

They start and right away they find things wrong - mold, cracked foundations, things that could not be seen from the outset. They give you a large change order - if you show any hesitation they will threaten to pull their workers and not come back for a while. So you agree. But the changes keep coming.

Now the payment schedule you originally agreed to is all off and they keep demanding more and more money. As the work progressed, I noticed how bad the work was, and asked for things to be redone. There was always an excuse or they said that they would correct it. All the things we noticed that needed correcting were never corrected.

Ben and Moe or "Archie" and "Morgan" came less and less. They were harder to get a hold of. The workers said that they could not get ahold of Morgan to approve materials. The workers also started to ask me for money saying that they didn't get paid.

The work crawled to a stop. I sent emails and text messages to all the numbers and email addresses I had for "West Coast Builders" but never got a timely answer. Morgan would show up and ask for more money. I told him that he took all our money and did not have any more.

Archie called me vulgar names and insulted my intelligence. With that he never called me again.

West Coast Builders 2 is a scam. Do not use West Coast Builders 2 unless you love having your money stolen from you.
