The home had absolutely no damage, minor wear and tear, yes. Definitely not 2000 in damages. Generally I would not take the time to fight a company like this and that is why we did not regarding the deposit, but now that they are effecting our credit we are going to have to take legal action. My advice to anyone is to run away from these people. They keep horrible records, they are constantly making mistakes that effect their tenants and they...

I signed a 2 year lease with my wife, unfortunately we separated after 16 months of living in the house and she moved out of the state with my daughter, so all of the sudden I was stuck by my self with a rent that was meant to be paid by 2 incomes.I tried to cxl de lease with a 30 day notice but the answer was no, instead they wanted to charge me a 2 month penalty on top of the 30 day notice, I ask them to wait until the 30th of the current...

Turns out that the house stood vacant for almost a year...

It's 0 degrees in Denver and we're having heating issues with our home. Our base board heaters aren't working well, and our fireplace Flue is broken. What that means for us is there's nothing blocking 0 degree air from coming right into our living space, creating an uninhabitable living area. When I called on the 7th they weren't going to send someone out until the 12th to fix it. I had to argue to get someone to come out inside a 48 hour...

rent came due, I asked if I could pay toward the middle month since I just paid a week ago on the new lease. They said no, and when the middle of the month came they allready slapped me with my eviction notice. I was willing and able to pay the rent on the second week of Nov. Still In The Same Month!!! and nope, they slapped eviction notice, and great timing before Thanksgiving! Thank you Colony American Homes, thank you again! Not! :(...
