I purchased a used "certified" Mercedes GL450 vehicle at Wayne Akers Ford in Lake Worth Florida; and was sold an extended warrantee for $3,528.00. They told me at the time I could service my vehicle anywhere.
This was a lie as there are sever restrictions on the service contract which is 6 pages long. They gave me 1 page which did not contain these restrictions. They sold me a vehicle that had a faulty radiator. The insurance coverage they sold me would not cover the repair reimbursement.
Wayne Akers Ford's own Service manager told me that they were unable to service Mercedes Repairs. The Service contract's fine print in the missing pages stipulates that you must service the vehicle at the purchasing dealer or one of its sister stores. Bottom line: Wayne Akers Ford sold me a defective car and a service contract that they were unable to perform service on with a company "Protective Property & Casualty Insurance Company" who refused to reimburse me for the Out of Pocket costs of a radiator repair.
To add insult to injury the General Manager of Wayne Akers Ford hung up on me during our conversation. BEWARE !!
