- - Drove 1.5 hours on Saturday 23 July to the gate.
- - Park closed for the day at 1:30pm; entry denied.
- - We were treated poorly by sheriff and may not return.
Drove an hour and a half on a Saturday 23 July to get to the front gate for a rude Sherriff to tell us the park was closed for the day at 1:30pm and we could not enter. Of course we weren't sure if it would be open tomorrow or if an incident occurred as to why they were turning people away, but my family wasted 3 hours in total on the road and all we got was treated very poorly by the cops at the gate. I may not want to even attempt coming back for this...
