Warranty forever canceled my policy

I bought a 2018 ram 3500 4 x 4

Did everything I was supposed to do?

Took it back to the dealership for all maintenance. They had all the records.

Needed some transmission work done

They sent inspector out to look at my truck, said because it had commercial tags on it. They canceled my warranty.

Explain to him it was a personal truck but because in the state of Ohio anything over 8600 GVW, you must have commercial tags he didnt care . They denied my claim and supposed to be sending my money back. Had the policy for 5 years .

Probably will never see a dime as they know no ones gonna pay an attorney. The warranty forever is a scam. Dealership said they was going to take the money and put it toward fixing to transmission.

You can look over the Internet and youll see nothing good about warranty forever but yet and I blame these dealerships they keep pushing this knowing that most of these claims are gonna be turned down. Its just not right.

User's recommendation: Tell them to shove the warranty forever up , well you know where .

100% wrong. It is over 10,000 GVW in Ohio.

Where are you looking? It is 10,001 gvw and higher. If you are using it to make money then yes, yours would need a commercial tag.

I think OP was hoping they would buy what he was saying.

Horrible service at their "preferred" Houston Ford dealership/repair shop

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Vehicle will sit at their "preferred" shop for weeks, no apparent reason, parts available at other Ford dealerships/repair shops.

Warranty nullified for not having pre-approval for oil change at a legitimate local Ford dealership; correct oil type, within mileage expectations, etc. Very Very costly oversight!

Stupid requirements to keep in effect

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The truck was not noting a need for oil change. I'd managed to keep track and get mandatory maintenance done to maintain the warranty for over 4 years.

With no notice on the truck I missed an oil change they required by over the 1 month grace period allowed. Even though it was well under the 10,000 miles (only had 6500 miles on the last change) they refused to give any allowance.

The required maintenance prior to losing the warranty had cost us quite a bit extra (my husband is a mechanic, but because he didn't have his own business, couldn't even do the oil changes). When they want things done so far outside of even the normal vehicle notifications...its proven to be expensive and useless.

Purchased Rpod at Longview in Connecticut 1 1/2 hours from home got it serviced there every fall purchased 2018 serviced 2018, 2019, 2020. At 2020 service I was told warranty is void for lack of yearly inspection.

I have all service records. Major warranty work was covered after negotiations with rpod.

Scam company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Bought camperno with supposed "Warranty Forever" small print says if you do not pay a dealer $150 per year for special inspection it is void. Had camper serviced each year with all recommended services.

Dealer service never recommended completing this inspection. Then when work was needed canceled.
