- - Hottub hooked up after delivery, but not working.
- - They claimed the wrong conduit was installed and would fix it for free; later billed $471.
Warmur installed power for hottub hook up. Received $1400 invoice within a week, I paid, no issue.
2 months later hottub delivered and hooked up. Not working correctly. Contacted Warmur, requested they come look. Employee glanced at control panel, said it looked like I hooked it up correctly, but he couldn't test or even touch what I had hooked up, due to liability issues.
Fair enough. He then advised that previous employee had installed wrong conduit, and he would fix it, but had to go back to warehouse to get correct conduit. Said I wouldn't be charged to fix a mistake made by previous employee. Travel and fix took 3.5 hours.
10 months later I received an invoice stating I owed $471 for 3.5 hrs of labor for "checked wiring done by others". Nothing about replacing conduit wire. How do you spend 3.5 hrs checking wiring that you can't touch? Called to clarify they were expecting me to pay THEM to fix THEIR mistake and to request work order.
Told I needed to speak to someone else. No return call. Sent me letter demanding payment or will be sent to collections. Responded in writing, again requesting work order.
No response. Received letter from collection agency demanding payment. Responded in writing. Again.
Requesting all documentation. No response.
Just posted to credit agencies destroying my credit score. Avoid them at all costs.
Preferred solution: Invoice removed from collection agency and removed from my credit score

Overbilled for service
- - No written quote; rate $75/hr but billed $90/hr.
- - Lunch charges for 2 hours; $180; parts overcharged; apprentice rate unchanged; late charge without amended invoice.
Did not get a written quote, was told their shop rate was $75, they charged $90 per hour. They had an apprentice working with the regular electrician, we were told he would "cost us much less then the normal rate".
They billed us for their lunch break (2 hours @$90 each=$180)!! Parts were overcharged as well. They agreed that they misquoted the original shop rate and conceded the $75 per hour rate. But they refused to change the apprentice rate or the charge for the workers for their lunch break.
After some back and forth they charged a late charge, even though we never got an amended invoice.
