i tried last sunday night to purchase bus ticket from memphis tenn, to indpls indiana . ticketct was ot issued after i tried twice.
i had to purchase a bus ticket home off my friends credit card. i checked with my bank after i arrived home . my account was charged twice both times i attempted to purchase tickect i did not get issued a ticket. i am now seeking a refund of both ticket amt..
also my bus that i did take from memphis tenn. had a flat tire causing a five hour delay making my arrival home difficult .

I was looking for a ticket from Boston to New York City, and their website had numerous options for the day I was leaving. (and at all different times of day and even night).
HOWEVER, after I ordered and paid for my ticket, I never got an email confirmation which is standard practice when buying a bus ticket.
And it was a standard bus - Peter Pan Co. Those drivers need to scan a bar code for all their passengers, and I an email confirmation which is standard practice when buying a didn't have one. Fortunately my bank sent me an email for that transaction with the amount and the word "Wanderu" at the bottom of the page. Still, the bus driver really couldn't do his job without the bar code.
Luckily he was nice and let me on the bus! I was going to an important family event & needed to go then. The Wanderu Help site lists time-consuming methods for ever getting most tickets from them (and it might take days..). Who has the time for that kind of extra effort when you just need to leave on time?
Will contact Peter Pan, who isn't even listed on their Help site, and see what they tell me. I'd say be careful about using this site unless you have several days ahead for extra phone calls, etc.
to make sure you get your ticket. PS I checked SPAM and PROMO folders and still never found any kind of e-ticket.

Verified ReviewerI received a cancellation of booking number 327409****. Cancellation number iss REBJVNTKP44U if I understand the notations right. However the credit never appeared on my discover card.
Then I find out wanderu has NO phone number to call, no customer service available, and no way to reach wanderu other than by providing a review.
No way to do anything about never receiving a credit. What kind of company is that! I did contact my credit card company, that was the only recourse I had.
I paid for a round trip ticket that I thought I was getting for the Van Galder bus.They refused to honor the ticket the ticket was purchased on 8/24/25 for me to travel i purchase another round trip.
On 8/24/25 I purchased a round trip ticket from Rockford Ill. to Chicago Ill.

The bus had a flat tire that they were unable to fix we were stuck on the highway for over 6 hours on a roach infested bus

Wanderu is a travel search site, they do not issue tickets or assign confirmation numbers. Peter Pan allows you to look up your boarding pass on their website, so if you didn't receive the ticket or entered an incorrect email, you can still pull it up.
Wanderu also has live chat customer service and email available through their website (lower right hand corner of website) and they respond within a few hours to all inquiries sent to them during normal business hours and under 24 hours for messages sent off-hours.
I'm glad you were able to get on the bus and make your trip. Though I am surprised that the driver didn't just show you how to locate it on their website.
